Unsure where to put this one.
Just grabbed 'Talk is Cheap' by Chet Faker at $3.20. Way overs in my opinion. Shame you can't lay any of the songs in the sportsbet market.

High is favourite in that market @justrandom .
Hth albums are getting less good as time goes on, none will ever be as good again as 'the calling'.

Couldn't have said it better myself mate. The calling is an absolute classic. Can't listen to the new stuff.

As someone that had to go and look at those tracks in the market (just havent been listening to much Triple J radio of late).

Stolen Dance is a pretty cool track, and I like the funky MJ style of 'Uptown Funk' - pretty cool!

The first two in the market don't really do it for me!

Hey @notapunta, check out the first page of the concerts thread, that started as a triple j thread too!

Oh oh - Taylor Swift into 2nd favourite for the Hottest 100 - this is gonna get ugly!

edit - has been suspended on sportsbet, reckon all votes for her song from 2 days ago onwards should be removed.

Pretty freakin' Unaustralian to try and get a US pop star into the Hottest 100 #1 spot!

I'm with you lucky, I felt like I listened to a fair bit if J's this year but far from all over some of the top songs, think the Chet Faker song is one of his worst!

I miss guys with guitars and drums so I'll be cheering for someone like Royal Blood but don't think they'll get near it sadly. Also can remember Bluejuice doing surprisingly well in years gone by, think they must have a loyal group of voters so at 80/1 I expect I'll Go Crazy to be nudging the top 10.

The day starts out well, with the announcement that Taylor Swift has been officially disqualified from the Hottest 100

Let's hope Sportsbet don't refund any bets on the track (as you deserve to lose your money if you backed it)

I reckon Chet faker will finish top 2, so wouldn't have minded some of that 4.60.
Royal Blood at Laneway festival should be one of the highlights

It has always had a pop flavour in it. If you aren't an Aussie hip hop fan then triple j probably isn't for you. I hated the doctor with a passion so I haven't switched on in years.

The days of Adam spencer & Frances Leach and a great variety of music are long gone

FR the biggest knobs I ever dealt with in my previous pastime (besides Metallica), but I love their music............ :)

Upon reviewing the results today, and listening to quite
a bit of it - I have come to the conclusion that it is a big pile of
    trollop..............

Can anyone tell me where the first (rock and roll) band
    comes in ?

    I've given up searching.

May as well just watch one of those spanker commercial tv
    "talent" shows.

Bring back The Finger, The Chair, The Gurge, The Bait,
    The Spoon, The End !

I love Frenzal Rhombs music but refuse to watch them live as I'd rather put a nailgun to my ear drums than listen to the Dr if i had the choice. Met both Jay and the doctor a couple of times , Jay seemed like the bigger tosser of the pair.

I feel we're all getting old guys!

I'm sure when we were listening to the above mentioned bands from the 90's - people who listened to the J's in the 80's hated the 90's stuff - it's just timing and where you were in life!

Remember many a mixtape/CD-R with a lot of that music on it!

On those better times, Double J celebrated the 40 year birthday of Triple J with some awesome radio spots on Double J last week

Check these if you want a bit of fun listening -
