Belmont R6. Carlton Draught Handicap Preview- 1 January 1970
|
A wide open race with very little pace.
A little lost on this race to be honest. I have no idea why Ten Aces handed up the lead last start. Its the only way he knows how! Ryan Hill will let him lead and off a month gap, he is the smokey at big odds. Smart Twister could be the only pressure, if he's even fast enough to get outside the leader.
This leaves the others vulnerable. If Navarda Lad can possie up close to the speed, he's probably the one and the way they've been backing Simon Miller's horses, we may be in for another bloodbath. Pike is smart enough not to drift too far back on Big Attitude aswell and is hungry for wins. Knight Fury also a chance but can over race and barrier one probably doesnt suit.
Brave knight nearly upset at big odds first up last campaign, but will have to go back here off a slow pace.
