The scratchings of much of the speed has made this race a little easier.
It was going to be an out and out speed contest before Saytorio, The Puzzler and Flying Affair came out.
Now you would think Lee Rani would lead but Im still scratching my head as to why there was no interest in leading last start?
Against my better judgement, Im going for a swooper in Final Cut. He's had no luck this campaign and runs a blistering sectional, but cant afford to be back last in this field.
I also give Recode a chance with Harvey aboard, the 1000m is perfect and Harvey has a great record aboard him. Le Sacre likewise, down in class but the 1000m doesnt suit and he can't afford to lose touch with the field like he did in the Beaufine. It was a good run though.
