Tricky start to the day, a lot will come down to luck in running
We start the day with a tricky little race and a lot will come down to luck in running. As we know race experience counts for a lot in these kind of races and for that reason I have selected Crown Lawyer (4) from the Neville Parnham camp. It has had the one race start where it was trapped wide and faded late; its recent trial was good where it displayed a nice turn of foot at the top of the straight to dash clear of its rivals. From its gate I think it can position outside the lead and give this field something to catch. Air Colorado (2) is an interesting runner, its recent trial was very good when it was asked for very little by Pike but it was still able to make up good ground. It should enjoy a nice trip from its alley and has each way claims. Leicachino (7) was sent out the public elect last start but it faded late in the run to finish second, she is fitter for this and has solid each way claims again. Believe you can (8) was somewhat disappointing at its first race start of the back of a very good trial, she can improve here.
