The Rising can return to the winners list today
The Risng put in the worst performance of his career last start when fading badly in the straight. On his previous form we can hopefully put that down to an abberation as he did work hard in running that day. Trainer Trevor Andrews had made a few gear adjustments today, and he is going to try and lead, from barrier three he will get every chance to do so, and hopefully we see The Rising return to form today. There may be a good battle on up front here with Right Time another that likes to lead, can he get across from barrier nine, its maybe doubtful with The Rising in the race, so he may be compelled to sit outside that horse today, but he has been in terrific form over the short distances of late, and he looks the main danger. Miss Solis was another who disappointed last start, she was held up in the straight but we will be looking for a better effort from her today. Geiger Rio likewise put in a rare poor run last start, back to his best he will always be a good one for novelties.

Agreed Chris, reasonable crowd on a glorious day, I thought 5 or 6 of the races were great contests too. Really enjoyed it.
