R6. Kalgoorlie Railways Handicap - 1 January 1970

A wide open affair, with a number of winning chances
The second leg of the quaddie looks an open affair with a stack of exposed speed. For that reason I have settled on Bawcatme (9) who is likely to take a sit midfield and be produced late in the piece. The horse can be hard to catch but lets hope today he is firing. Pure Adrenalin (11) will likely cross from a wide gate and be in the first few in running, his effort behind Terkel was solid and he has each way claims. In his hands (5) was solid first up down the pinjarra straight and he should get a sweet run in transit, he has top three claims. Cargo cruiser might be a blow out chance here, his last run at Albany was very impressive when he settled towards the rear of the field and came with a massive run to win the race and he will be suited by the speed up front. I suggest taking a few in the quaddie here.
