This lightly raced horse has a good record when racing first up, a good record at Belmont and returns this afternoon, its hard to go past him. He apparently doesnt appreciate the heat, so certainly doesnt have that to worry about today on the float trip down from Geraldton, he has drawn beautifully and is a great pick up ride for Geraldton local Andrew Masters, who replaces the injured Paul Harvey on board today. Its a very good race to close the Italian day programme but Full Steam Ahead has the class on his side here. One that may start at good each way odds is Uncle George, he may just sprint well fresh this afternoon, he raced really well when last in work over longer distances, with the big field here you would expect plenty of pace to be on which might suit him. Iseethingsyoudon't must also be respected, he is a first up winner and resumes today, although from a poor barrier, he may have to do some work if they want to race in a forward position here, and amongst the other chances once again is Carry The Nation, becoming costly for punters with his tardy starts, he does come in well on weights here, if he could just get out today and utilise the inside barrier draw, he may run a good race.
