At any time since Drake donned a pink puffer jacket to sing his cellular heartbreak anthem Hotline Bling, we can not get ample of the included pad. Drake’s was created by Moncler – definitely – but you can get much less expensive variations. Uniqlo’s is the streetstyle favorite their for a longer period edition a chic (and leg-pleasant) acquire on the fashionable traditional.

If you’re emotion additional common, trusty M&S have a staple in the season’s coolest color (copper, if you experienced to question). Marginally pricier is J Crew’s offering – built in London and hand-built in Italy, it may just carry the warmth of a Mediterranean sea breeze to the District line.

A glace close to the significant street will also notify you that ever-fashionable Peacoats are conveniently available. There are two fantastic selections: H&M’s is a good wardrobe piece, excellent terrific for layering the ultra-luxe Burberry variation – admittedly ten situations the selling price – is blizzard-ending stuff. A attractive reduce, cashmere blend and buttons produced from buffalo horn (for a contact of experience).

The principal takeaway is that wintertime doesn’t just suggest muted colors and sombre dressing. Sandro’s aptly named Soul coat is a wonderful, woolly reminder of that. Wrap up, embrace its bold verify and experience the chilly – knowing that you are going to glimpse trendy even when that thundersnow descends.

The solar has long gone away and the temperatures are plunging, which usually means it’s time to update your look with a new outerwear layer.

For the duration of the cold year, your cover-up is the initially piece of apparel that everybody sees – so it requires to support you glance the component. But with a wealth of types on the current market, obtaining the ideal one particular is no quick feat.

To make points a lot easier, we have compiled a guideline to the most classy outerwear for gentlemen - including superior-street and designer alternatives.

There should usually be some place in your wardrobe for a sound wintertime coat. (Toronto Rehabilitation Institute)

But the seven-degree slope that was the minimum amount to get the single snowflake is equal to the crystal clear minimize at the stop of a sidewalk to consider a wheelchair onto a highway floor, something people today may possibly have to negotiate each individual working day.

To get three snowflakes, the top rated ranking, a boot would have to grip on a fifteen-degree incline.

Fernie is optimistic. "I you should not want to be something but enthusiastic for the types with one particular snowflake. We are conservative and we feel you will find heading to be big advancements in the up coming 12 months or two many years," he stated.

The Rate My Treads web-site will extend as extra boots are tested.
Race 1 (2185m):
Hard betting race few decent horses in it, Harvati has the gate speed to lead and probably win. 1st starter from Frank Vanmaris camp a full sister to American bootcoota - Stylish Ingot.
I always rate J Prentice 2 year olds so i like the first starter Somersby each way.

Race 2 (2631m SS):
Not a fan of trotters races, Baldy face may give Lord Liam something to chase if he steps cleanly and leads, Lewis driving giving it every chance.

Race 3 (2185m):
An average field with a Hall camp first starter from NZ, Runaway Three looks the winner. If somethings amiss with it first up, Arie probably best winning chance of the rest

Race 4 (2185m):
Another tricky race with not much form (no horse in this race has won in their past 10 starts). Heartofahurricane might run a cheeky race at odds, but more so of a place bet. Red tail and Tajies boy probably the best of an average bunch here.

Race 5 (2185m):
Another NZ Hall Camp first starter and looks a very winnable debut in Australia, the only threat will have to work drawn out in 7

Race 6 (2185m):
The Spinster could claim this race early if it crosses easily, Dont Mind the draw for Yackandandah 3 back pegs might bring out the best in it.
Cerato did beat Shardons Rocket last start but i am unsure of the new trainer.

Race 7 (2185m):
This will be an interesting race Tanaka Eagle, Bhagwan, Debt Free Charlie and All the way to the bank all with good gate speed really sets it up for a sit sprinter like abraxas blues who may be 1 out and 2 back, also a good turn of foot Leftrightgoodnight which could be good value. Tanaka eagle can lead and win if theres no early pressure.

Race 8 (2185m):
Backpage screamer looks a good chance here but I wouldn't take anything less than 7$
Chiaroscuro looks to have the most upside, but a long prep and wide draw doesnt helps its cause.

In summary probably only betting in the 7th race tomorrow.
Last Friday night was one of the weakest fields seen at Headquarters with the five prepost favourites having just the three placings between them from their previous forty five starts. That's 45 starts 0 wins 3 placings. Fair to say a weak field.

In that race the rank outsider at 33/1 was Our Clarisa...gave her a rough chance and anchored her for third and fourth in first four betting ( as pointed out on the Gloucester Park PTT edition for the night ) and said after being unplaced , that although she was not helped by the tiring Wabi Sabi falling back in her lap she was the rank outsider for a reason in a diabolical field.

Then last night at GP she went around a $2.60 favourite :-O . No knock on Clarisa but 33/1 unplaced in a shocker of a field then just days later $2.60 favourite :-?? She was gone on the corner taking tippy toe footsteps up the straight.

After a very good result last Friday I found doing the form for this meeting to be a massive struggle, hopefully get enough right to put the head in front. Will be going a higher spend on the EW bets as I just haven't been able to slim the novelties down enough for my liking.

R1: No12 Veiled Secret.
Bet: No12 Veiled Secret EW. FF: 7,12/7,9,12/7,9,12/5,6,8,11. 100% costs $16 then rotate the 7,9,12 through.
EQ: 7,9,12.
Thought Princess Major might have the speed to get across them early which would give her a big chance. The 12 looks an excellent draw for Veiled Secret who is getting progressively better, I thought she might be able to get in front of the fav early. You have to respect Rosie but she has been up a while now and again has no favours from the draw.

R2: No8 Forever Remembered.
Bet: No8 Forever Remembered EW. FF: 8,9/6,7,8,9/6,7,8,9/1,3,6,7,8,9,10,12. 100% costs $60.
EQ: 6,7,8,9.
A bit of speed early and the theory that she should be able to get a trail up off something has me thinking Forever Remembered can go back to back. Four Hear Beats and Sea Me Smile likely to show early speed along with possibly Sea Cider should see it quick enough early, expect My Platinum Belle to get the top eventually. She’ll run well. 1 of the 7 or 9 are likely to follow her across and breeze so I figure the other one leads up the 3 deep line with FR on its back and she swoops them again.

R3: No1 Machrie.
Bet: EW No1 Machrie. Tri:1,9/1,5,8,9/1,4,5,8,9,10. 100% costs $30.
EQ: 1,5,8,9.
Not sure if Machrie leads or gets crossed but off its first up run I expect it to give this a good shake regardless. Celestial Ruler the likely challenger for the lead along with possibly Bettor Boa. Originally didn't have bettor Boa in calculations at all but the more I look at it the more i'm thinking it may be on top at some stage with the stable connection to the 1. Expect Billy Mach to punch the breeze again and is a class drop but needs to improve. Khun Ratha has the best form for the race but that has been off good trips and we have seen him fail time and time again regardless of the grade if he hasn’t had the trip to suit. I’m going to give him one last go. If Sight Seeing Anvil can bring its form of 4 and 5 runs ago it is right in it.

R4: No2 Say It Now.
Bet: Small play the Tri:2,9/1,2,3,6,9/1,2,3,4,6,9. 100% is $40.
EQ: 1,2,3,6,9.
There are some tough races tonight, this and the one prior certainly fit that. I’ve gone Say It Now purely for the driver change and thinking he should be somewhere in the firing line throughout. Thought Atlastalone showed a tiny return to form Tues night, that’s enough for me to throw him in. Other EQ inclusions are chances with the right trips.

R5: No1 Dana Duke.
Bet: No1 Dana Duke EW. FF: 1/10/2,3,7,8,11,12/2,3,7,8,11,12. 100% costs $30 for a gold coin.
QD: 1,5,7,8,10,11,12.
I think tonight might be the night they keep Therugo out, Ideal Justice kicks up under him and Dana Duke either sits or just does enough to kick up under both of them. DD is no world beater but is a big strong animal, I like the addition of the hood and this will be up tempo which even though he is going to be right up on it and possibly working I think it will suit. Gone extremely wide in the quad as if they go mad early which could be on anything can happen.

R6: No4 King Lebron.
Bet: No4 King Lebron EW. FF:1,4/1,4/2,3,8,10/2,3,8,10. $24. Then rotate the 1,4 through.
QD: 1,4.
Ima Rocknroll Legend has repeatedly shown a really sharp sprint along with a propensity to not want to do it for very long. I really feel like it can only win if it hands up to something. With that in mind I thought the stable mate King Lebron might be driven aggressively early to take it up and be hard to beat. It could work out to be a pretty similar scenario to last time around for Ideal Tyson, if that is the case I again struggle to see how he can overcome it.

R7: No2 Mach Time.
Bet: No11 El Hombre EW.
QD: 2,10,11,12.
Scratching has changed this completely for me. Thought Voak was too kind to Mach Time on Vultin Tin last week and I don't see it happening again, I think he will be pouring the pressure on. This opens it up for Sprinter and El Hombre to finish over them, El Hombre will be the value so going that way.

R8: No1 Eliseos Falcon.
No Bet.
QD: 1 for 50% spend, 2,5,7,8,10 for the other 50%.
I think Donald Harper might be able to get Eliseos Falcon going. It has the speed to lead here, I don’t particularly like the leaders in this grade over this trip but I think he can get it done. Danger is that the horse can pull and A Bit Ruthless can annoy leaders hence the 2,5,7,8,10 for back up.

R9: No11 Our Magical Miracle.
No Bet.
Trial was good for Our Magical Miracle. I can’t see a decent bet as with the dolly’s going on I’m not sure if Bad Round wants the lead or hands up which makes the running too hard to work out. Hopefully Borntobeanartist charges across to the top so JayJay can do some cheering.

R10: No1 The Royal Lady.
Bet: Win No1 The Royal Lady if I’m up a long long way.
If she can run somewhere near 2 minutes and run home somewhere near 29 I don’t see how they can beat the Royal lady. It is a field with 7 wins from 178 starts between them so it may pay to tread carefully!

Good luck all.

One for the ages, one of the most interesting (from a pedigree purists point of view) lineage studies I have ever done.....if you ever wonder about the influence of Hambletonian 10 on the evolution of the standardbred, then this horse ticks the boxes with no less than 12 infusions of Hambletonian 10 in his extended pedigree, along with quite a few occurrences of thoroughbred blood.
Colonially bred to my bootstraps with a strong Globe Derby influence (grand sire) on the sire line through multiple champions, my dams side seems flimsy until the 3rd dam, who was the mother of arguably Australia's greatest siring son of Globe Derby. Did I race under the radar?....you betcha as I ran into WA's and possibly one of Australia's greatest ever 3 year olds and spent most of my racing life avoiding him.
Although unruly and unpredictable throughout my career, I started off racing as a 3 year old and won 2 minor 3 year old races before lining up in the 3 year old classics of the day, the WA Derby and a week later, the WA Sires Produce Stakes. Enter stage left, my brilliant nemesis who relegated me to minor placings in both classics whilst setting race records in the process, in spite of me running brilliantly. Owned by a future dynastic trotting family, I was trained by a relative novice who didn't even have a license to drive in races,a factor that would cause huge controversy later in my career.
These were heady days at Gloucester Park...large crowds and controversy always bubbling below the surface, demonstrations by punters were both frequent and vociferous. There were threats flying in all directions...one notable case was when a market was "pinched" by an off course clocker, who lived very close to Nile Street, if not in it, with a grand view of early morning workouts. His eagle eye saw both of this trainers horses backed off the boards one night, to the exclusion of the owner getting his money on at a decent price, and what followed were official complaints against the "clocker" and a threat to sell the horses and shift inter state. Both threats were carried out. Trainers, including a future Chairman of Stewards, took to working their horses in the near darkness of the early morning but "the opera singer" was not to be denied and markets continued to be plundered. One trainer was quoted as saying " I wouldn't mind so much but you never see him shoveling **** or mucking out a box".
Anyway, I digress, I was showing great promise in my early races in spite of being difficult to drive.
Avoiding the current champ, I raced through my classes as a late 3 year old and early 4 year old against pretty strong opposition, with some Christmas Carnival plums in sight.
Approaching the carnival in an important lead up race, I was forced to travel wide through out dragging a buckled wheel in finishing second to a quality horse, whose driver was suspended post race for causing interference. However, I made amends next start and my free lance driver got me home to qualify for the all important Christmas Handicap, whilst I left the champ to take them on in the Pacing Cup. The bad news was that the champ, and a host of quality eastern states visitors, were also contesting the Christmas Handicap as a warm up to the Cup.
The first round of heats saw Bob Pollock out drive the field in my heat but I ran a very game second. In the second round of heats, I led all the way to qualify for the final but the "champ" also won his heat, along with a visiting Interdominion place-getter and a previous WA Cup place-getter, resulting in a stellar field for the final, one of the best ever assembled.
No one could foresee the upcoming controversy leading into the final. Pre- post betting markets had it as a race in 4...and I wasn't won of them. With Interdominion place-getters and heat winners, plus the rising super star of WA pacing heading the market, I was given little chance, with local newspaper tipsters not even including me in their top 4. However, a very late driving change was to rock the market, after an awful lot of pre post betting, when my regular driver was reported to be "medically unfit" and unable to do me justice. This resulted in an ace driver being engaged, one who had risen to the very top in recent years with a string of well supported big race wins. This triggered a huge betting plunge which saw me shorten into a close 2nd favourite amidst all sorts of rumours. With my trainer and my driver (and even my drivers highly credentialled trainer father) denying outright having invested any money at all, I prevailed by a very narrow margin (a head) in the final, relegating the favourite into 3rd with the "champ" fortuitously galloping from the start and being pulled up. In winning, I took an amazing 4 seconds of the gross time race record and all hell broke loose. The bookies were crying foul, along with a substantial majority of the crowd, but what was somewhat clouded by the ongoing demonstration was my outstanding effort in winning the race after an ace drive from my new pilot. The trainer was publicly quoted as saying he would purchase " a very nice gift" for the winning driver ...yeah, right.
I continued to race on in strong open class company but never repeated my stellar performance in winning this famous race.

Ever started something and wondered why? Geezus, I thought yep, 18 wins, double that number of places, a bag of money ($170k) in spite of no major wins, very familiar with the horse (so I thought), this will be a piece of cake. WRONG!!!.....15 different drivers, 8 different trainers, many of them housing him on multiple different occasions, raced everywhere but Darwin and Alice Springs......Yikes, why did I start. Anyway here goes, someone will probably land him about 5 minutes after I post this.
Bred by a leviathan Australian breeding operation, by an Albatross stallion with not a really high profile, out of a Gary Rowan mare that although she produced 9 other winners, they only won a total of 36 very minor races between the lot of them...I was easily her best son. I started of racing life with a renowned juvenile trainer/breaker with an incredible record of 2 year old success, sometimes making up almost the entire field in early 2 year old races. My first 3 starts returned 3 placings including a placing in an early 2yo classic, but then it was off to Victoria to join a premier trainers stable for an assault on the Vic Sires races for juveniles. Winning 3 from 5 and 2 placings including one in a Vic Sires Final, I then went up to NSW for their sires series but failed to fire. Back to WA with my original trainer, I won my first race in WA for new owners and was then spelled. Returning as a 3 year old for a prominent trainer, I had 3 starts for a 2nd and got knocked out of a major early 3yo Classic before accompanying my new trainer to Victoria for the 3YO Vic Sires races running 3rd in both a heat and the Semi Final before winning the repechage. Knocking up frequent flyer points, it was back to WA for the Derby and a win in a prelude but I never started in the final, it was straight back to Victoria, into a new stable chasing the big dollars for more 3yo Sires Stakes races. In 6 starts, I won 2, ran 2nd and never finished further back than 4th but never landed a big one. More Qantas points as I flew up to Queensland for the Derby, qualifying for the final but unplaced and had to be content with a minor race win at Toowoomba. Back to Victoria for a heat win and a 2nd in the final of a late season 3yo series in August, I then had a brief let up, before resuming as a 4yo collecting wins at Kilmore and Geelong before nailing a prelude win and another 2nd in the final of the 4YO Sires Stakes Series in December. No rest as it was straight to the Airport for a trip back to WA and another new trainer. Placed in a couple of major 4YO classics at GP, including picking up the biggest cheque of my career, I won one more race before being spelled until August. Back with yet another new trainer, and a multitude of drivers, I took some time to find form but kept improving and nailed a major race win in December before being set for the Pacing Cup. Decent 4th and 5th placings in the preludes and a placing in the Consolation was hardly Interdominion Form, but after yet another stable change and a another driver change , it was onto the plane to head East, with many local "in the know" horse people giggling loudly as the optimistic trainer set off on what the locals suggested was mission impossible. Throwing considerable egg into their faces, I raced competitively, being placed in 2 of the heats of the Inters and qualified for the final but had little luck and finished down the track. Back to Perth for a couple of starts and then a long 10 month spell, I resumed with another new trainer and driver in February of the next year for a competitive fast class campaign with placings in FFA company and minor Cup races. Spelled for 7 months and back with one of my previous trainers, I was prepared for another WA Cup campaign, and again surprised the pundits with a fine prelude placing but leg trouble was now catching up with me. I shifted lodgings again to be trained near the beach and was spelled again for 7 months but that was about it...I returned for 3 unplaced runs, fittingly being driven by my most successful driver during my career in finishing second last and a strong recommendation from this kind hearted gent that it was time for a permanent lush green retirement paddock

Terribly wet and cold, not even thinking of venturing outside, paddocks are a bog, snow forecast for the Stirling Ranges, so, even though @VillageKid picks these off like fruit from the sideboard, yet another very nice horse that flew under the radar and got beaten up by a string of champions over a long period of time.
And unlike others, there was nothing...and I emphasise nothing...in his pedigree to indicate that that this fellow would measure up.

My sire was a dismal failure at stud, in spite of good Meadow Skipper bloodlines and a fair USA racing record. With only 13 lifetimes winners, I was arguably his only decent horse and my dams extended pedigree is almost totally devoid of winners.I was the only winner from my dam (6 foals), my grand dam also produced just one winner from 6 attempts and my great grand dam's 16 foals produced just 3 winners of 10 very minor races. All this in spite of having the U Scott/Dillon Hall cross as the basis of my maternal pedigree. The family looks relatively good on paper but performance wise, it is a dead line.
However, something caught the eye of a leading trainer and in spite of 2 very unimpressive unplaced 2 year old runs in New Zealand in the late 80's, finishing way down the track in slow times, I was purchased for export to Australia, undergoing the obligatory name change via the addition of a prefix to my original name.
14 months later, I made my Australian debut at an early 90's Pinjarra Monday Christmas meeting in a $2000 4yo maiden, and in spite of blowing the start from the mobile, I won easily as a heavily supported favourite. I repeated the deal a week later at Harvey (for driver number 1 of the 9 different reinsmen that would handle me in my career) and then headed to headquarters for a couple of midweek placings for driver number 2. I continued racing through the provincial classes bringing up another 4 wins from 7 attempts before spelling for 8 months. Returning the next December, I claimed 2 more impressive midweek wins before I tasted metro success in an MO. A month later. with driver number 3 on board, I defeated a future top liner from the DeCampo stable in a major provincial Country Cup, the newspaper pundits now changing my description from "handy type" to "highly promising".
Back with my original driver, I claimed another 3 metro wins and ventured to the provincials for my second Country Cup win, then returned to headquarters winning 2 more metro races to progress to an M5 assessment.
After a spell, I returned into fast class ranks and raced well, being placed behind a couple of behemoths of the era....total super stars...and I lined up against them in what was to be a memorable Pacing Cup Series. I was very competitive, running top 5 in the heats and placed in the Cup consolation as the 3 big guns duked it out. Spelled again, I returned in good form 6 months later with placings in the Tatts Cup and a win in a legends Memorial FFA stand from 30 metres behind.. Remarkably, in spite of being placed in 1.56 and change, I had never broken the 2 minute mile rate in any of my 14 wins.
After shifting into the stables of the leading trainer, driver number 5 steered me to a major off season Cup win in addition to a FFA win against a Pacing Cup winner before yet another stable change after a change of ownership. Although taking some time to find form after a spell...I was getting on in years though not quite a veteran.... I racked up a long series of placings in the major winter Cup races before finally claiming a win after 12 starts in the new stable with a Christmas FFA win. I then scored a surprise win in a Cup prelude taking my lifetime record of 1.58.0 prior to being blitzed by a champion in the Cup Final...in fact, the whole field was blitzed. Spelled again...I was now an 8 year old and needed careful management, I returned for another off season standing start Cup win in what was to be my second last victory. However, in my final fling I became a repeat winner of an off season Cup 6 months later before riding off into the sunset. In all, I racked up 21 wins and 24 placings in a remarkably consistent career across 3 major stables.

In spite of a winning LTR of 1.54.7, 30 race wins and over $275k in stakes....and a brother who went 1.54 in the USA.....and from a dam who was a pretty handy city winner.....and an Aunty who won the Easter Handicap....and with a brood mare sire with a record second to none in spite of limited opportunities....and being the most successful offspring of a siring son of the great Most Happy Fella.....and being WA bred by a small time north eastern wheatbelt farmer, I flew well under the publicity radar, continuously being knocked over by star quality pacers, both here in WA, and when I traveled very widely throughout Australia, during a career encompassing the mid to late 80's well into the 1990's.
As a 2 year old, I tasted champagne with group 2 success on 2 occasions, including a local sires stakes race, and raced on as a 3 year old with group 3 success, including an outer Country Derby win, a placing in the Country Derby Final and a heat win in the WA Derby but was unplaced behind a top horse in the Derby Final.
I continued to race at the highest level across many states of Australia and I had a particular fondness for Lord Mayors Cups, regardless of the city, being placed on 2 occasions and winning once in 3 separate "Lord Mayors Cups". I was placed in Interdominion Heats and consolations and ran 2nd at Group 1 level to a mighty champion of the 1990's up in Queensland. I did taste group 1 success in what was considered a fairly ordinary group 1 in spite of downing the reigning Interdominion Champion. I raced in all the major events, including the Inters, APC's, Vic Cup, Treur Memorial and the Miracle Mile, and at all tracks imaginable....GP, Fremantle, Harvey Bunbury, Pinjarra, Northam etc in WA, Globe Derby, Moonee Valley, Harold Park, Bankstown, Albion Park, Gold Coast, Redcliffe, Geelong, Bendigo, Albury, Penrith and Wyong amongst others.and some of the more illustrious drivers to sit behind me included Trevor Warwick, Michael and Joe Ilsley, Chris Gleeson, Brian Hancock,Cyril Caffyn, Kevin Thomas, Brian Gath and Ted Demmler, in addition to my breeders son who both trained and drove me as a young horse.

R1: No10 Our Zak Whitby.
Bet: None.
EQ: 1,4,6,10,12.
Should be an interesting race but not one I’m keen to play in. Anvil Rollover has ok gate speed but not brilliant, my guess is it leads but it is purely a guess. I’m tipping Our Zac Whitby based on the soft run factor but he may get bundled away. Thought Vampiro would run well from the breeze. Interested to see how The Pima Indian progresses and how the new Hall runner goes. Am a knock on Neighlor.

R2: No11 Donegal Rundelscreek.
Bet: No11 Donegal Rundlescreek EW.
EQ: 3,11,12.
Could be a bit of an early tussle between 1 Sightseeing Anvil and 3 Debt Free Charlie. If the 1 was mine I’d hand up straight away as I think the 3 will get there regardless but time will tell. Sprinter has been just a touch off his best his last couple IMO but him even a bit off will still go close. Thought he would breeze. Think it’s a risk backing the Bond runners tonight but one worth taking as I thought Donegal could just sit and wait and go whenever suited her without anything getting in her way and basically just charge by them.

R3: No9 Atlastalone
Bet: FF: 6,9/6,9/1,7,8/FD. 100% costs $36 then rotate the 6,9 through. Tri:9/1,6,7,8/1,2,6,7,8. 100% costs $16. Something straight out No9 too.
EQ: 6,7,8,9.
The more I look at it the more I think this is right up Atlastalone’s ally. He’s actually a good chance to cross, thought Fernleigh Rebel might be driven conservatively, even if FR flies out Grantham could end up angling in behind as the horse comes back to him extremely well. C Hall has a job to get FR back to its best, his best is pretty good for this class but 16 starts for 1 placing this season suggest improvement needed. Tanaka Eagle has been very solid at his two runs back, not his type of race but he will be punching through them late. Jnr has to be respected on Attack On Comand, can guarantee he will be running into it late.

R4: No7 Americanbootscoota.
Bet: FF:7,12/2,7,10,12/2,7,10,12/1,2,3,6,7,8,10,12. 100% costs $60.
EQ: 7,10,12.
Think Major Rush steps to the front, others on the front line will want to take it off him but I think he holds them until one of the class gets there. Genuinely believe its 50/50 between Americanbootscoota and Rub Of The Green as to who gets there first. ABS got away safely but slowly at his one stand, ROTG is not always quick but I suspect outside the 20m he might fly it and make up that 10m on the fav very quickly. Smokey has to be included if they overdo it or if one of them doesn’t go early and he can track them up.

R5: No5 Gaz Wanna Bet
Bet: No5 Gaz Wanna Bet EW.TRI: 5,6,7/2,5,6,7/1,2,5,6,7. 100% costs $27.
QD: 2,5,6,7.
Don’t like doing it in a sprint but looks a back markers race. Thought Argyle Red would cross, he looked proppy in the run to the line last start, until he shows something I can’t have him. If Cut For An Ace can lead he is a much better chance of winning. Whoever leads is bound to cop the pressure from Better Than Money. The BMR distance range of Gaz Wanna Bet at 1.53.9 keeps jumping out at me. Sitting just off them fresh, goes BANG. Fingers crossed. Harry Who is a class drop and I prefer him from behind and Soho Chelsea was a great run to the eye last week.

R6: No9 Nathans Courage.
Bet: No9 Nathans Courage win.
QD: 9,10.
I know there is a lot of horses with speed off the front but I just think it will be handlebars down from Grantham and Nathans Courage running to the front. I have a feeling he might get out to quite a nice price too. Have taken Therugo as insurance, obviously does his best work from the front but if the others cook it then surely in the form he is in he can run on.

R7: No6 Heez ON Fire.
Bet: No6 Heez On Fire EW. FF:6/1,4/1,3,4,7,11/1,3,4,7,10,11. 100% costs $32.
QD: 1,4,6.
Great race. Think it’s fair to say Runoneonver was a wrung bellow his inters form at his last campaign. Trialled well but does he settle? My Hard Copy’s trial was sensational, you’d think Clint Hall would be putting everything in to this horse. Heez On Fire fresh and raring to go, think this is his go, little campaign then freshen. The others probably have bigger fish to fry down the track where as I think he makes hay while the sun shines, charging down the outside he is the one for me.

R8: No6 Milliondollahanova.
Bet: No6 Milliondollahanova win. QUIN:6/1,8.
QD: 6,8.
For a horse that contested the lead, breezed and went 1.55.6 on Saturday Milliondollahanova has been under rated in the early 365 market (shame the other corporates have dropped off on going up Thursday). I thought she was a great bet, drop in just behind them and run away with it. Pick My Pocket isn’t one of mine but its form is first class all be it without winning. Thought Rocking The Boys would lead it up, can run home real quick if getting away with a bit but not convinced she is at her absolute top.

R9: No2 Angus Invasion.
Bet: None.
Thought Angus Invasion was probably your leader and probably your winner although a quick glance at the form suggest there might be some good trotters amongst them.

R10: No7 Apparitional.
Bet: Win No7 Apparitional. FF: 7/10,11/10,11/1,2,3,5. 100% costs $8.
A bit of speed and an aggressive driver on 1 makes me think the 2 Combat Crusade doesn’t just run to the front easily. On what I saw Monday I think as long as Apparitional isn’t 3 deep the trip he will win this race. Like Unexpected Visitor darting along the pegs and Bud to continue his cashing in on placings in these 3yr old races as the season comes to a close.

The 2nd horse One Off Delight out of 1.56 winner Tiger Su, a brother to very well performed Just A Tiger 1.57.1 and Mac Tiger 1.57.5 and 22 wins between them. Third placed Veiled Secret by Tinted Cloud is out of multiple Group1 winning WA Oaks winner Sheer Royalty making her a half sister to $275k winner Sheer Rocknroll. And the full brother to $866k, 1.50.6 champion Our Waikiki Beach in Bechers Brook only ran 5th.
Such quality at the end of the season says two things....it is going to be a hell of competitive 3yo group coming through next year and the "PTT Breeding Bet" of the night is fast becoming obsolete for old codgers that try and find a bit of value by studying the pedigrees.

Better effort last week, early quad, EW at double figures and a smallish FF helped me get a handy profit, see if I can back it up. Also thought I should outline I do not tend to do the 100%, sometimes more but more often less, just put it there as a marker to work against when divs come through.

R1: No1 Real Zeal.
Bet: FF:1,2/1,2/6,10,11/5,6,10,11,12. 100% costs $24. Swap 2nd and 3rd for smaller bet.
EQ: 1,2,6.
My take on it is that Brookies Jet takes it up from Real Zeal but Real Zeal runs it down late, i'd assume i'm no orphan in coming up with that one. Not the strongest race you will see so I want the horses on the pegs but also not the top drivers so there could be multiple scenarios/carnage. 3,4 and 9 could all push on so I have thrown Boo Hoo in as the knockout chance in the EQ though he is probably more likely to be back last and not get into it for the duration.

R2: No3 Whozideawasthis.
BET: FF:3/1,6,10/1,4,6,9,10/1,2,4,6,9,10,12. 100% costs $60.
EQ: 3,10.
Gangbuster has enough speed to hold Mako Shadow, they might have a little tussle for that spot which could have the fav working for a while which is probably the only way he is vulnerable. He should be getting the top though and be too quick for them. I wanted to anchor Johny Disco to run FF but there is the real danger jnr stacks them and he doesn't see day light. Thought the 6 might be the horse to get up to the breeze and it can hold on.

R3: No6 Forever Remembered.
Bet: No6 Forever Remembered EW, Tri: 6,11/1,3,5,6,11/1,3,5,6,10,11,12 100% costs $40.
EQ: 1,3,6,11.
Not sure who leads, If Stunin Eyes Only was mine I’d want it to lead as I’m not convinced about the 3 Maia Maguire but suspect it gets the lead. Have to take it in EQ in case it is gifted it. Thought Forever Remembered might be able to slot in with a few behind her and be too quick late. Not expecting any speed battle early which gives Foxy Dame the chance to move into it early as the class.

R4: No9 Therugo.
Bet: No bet although if Lady Dupree is a million to one a might have some coins on her.
EQ: 9 for 50%, 1,5,6,10,11 for 50%.
There is plenty of speed under Therugo, I really feel like that could make him vulnerable but also feel he could probably be 3 deep the first lap and still beat these as long as he eventually got the top. Taken some who can win if others make it too hard for him.

R5: No11 Daniel John.
Bet: Tri: Box 1,9,11,12. $24. FF:11/1,9,12/1,9,10,12/1,2,9,10,11,12. 100% costs $36. No11 Daniel John EW.
QD: 1,9,11,12.
Daniel John has terrific form for a race like this, following through a good beginner he can sit or go if they are going too slow. I thought The Revolution would hold, is an in and out customer in the lead position. For that reason they may hand up to the 2 but i'm betting around that. Thought the 9 horse would push forward at the start, trial shows it is ready to go. Livura is still looking for the right race to run past them all, it will happen soon.

R6: No3 Mach Time.
Bet: FF: 3,8,9/3,6,8,9/3,6,8,9/1,3,6,8,9,10,11. 100% costs $72.
QD: 3,6,8,9.
Settled on Mach Time as I thought he could get a very easy lead. Motu Premier ran past him like he was glued down 2 back so I guess if one of the 8 or 9 can get outside him easily we will get to see if they are anywhere near Motu’s ball park. Have included El Hombre in the quad as I think he can get them driven super soft if the others get it wrong.

R7: No13 Motu Premier.
Bet: No13 Motu Premier win.
QD: 13,14
Motu Premier looks to be a horse who can have a presence come carnival time, steps well and is strong. I'm pretty confident he just wins. He might be racing the 12 to get to the top early, I seem to remember this race previously being won by those with a sit and it turning up some upsets but there is a fair golf in ability between some of these. The Bucket List is likely to do nothing in the run so if they do get it wrong he can swoop them, happy to take him as the backup.

R8: No1 American Ingot.
Bet: Might back the 1 or 10 price dependant. FF:1,10/1,10/2,3,4,5,11,12/2,3,4,5,11,12. 100% costs $60 then rotate the 1,10.
QD: 1,3,5,10.
I wish the Charles stable had swapped the drivers on their horses, I think it would have made the 1 a good thing. American Ingots best gate speed is good enough to lead this easy but it hasn’t shown that of late. It should lead and if it runs up to last week it should go close. Wouldn’t be surprised if It Aint Royal shows improved early speed, can win leading. Gotta Go Chocolate is probably the safest bet as leaders back or 3 back isn’t going to be a bad spot to be.

R9: No12 Tisadream.
Bet: No12 Tisadream EW. FF:12/3,8/1,2,3,8/1,2,3,5,8,11. 100% costs $24.
This should have been the last leg of the quad. The Pima Indian adds interest, looks to be pretty talented but also pretty erratic. Thought he would lead and having watched his trial can’t see him not running along. Backing Maczaffair to have to do too much again but got it wrong last time and the early price looks fantastic. Tisadream is flying and is going to be close thanks to the small field, I think they go too hard and he gets them.

R10: No1 Midnight Man.
Bet: No12 Velvet Feelsgood EW.
Midnight Mans race to lose but he will be very well found in the market for a horse that can find one better than him. Might not be his race but I think Velvet Feelsgood will keep developing and should be big odds.
