R2: Don’t know
what to make of King Lebron.Thought he was pretty good two starts back but
awful last start even if he was asked to do a little bit of work late. He doesn’t
fly out but should lead and will have to be hard to beat. I hope the
instructions to Kyle Marshal on 4 Naughty Maravu are to get up outside
the leader, I think he can control the race from there and win it. That would
give Twoandahalftigers the 1,1 and make him a winning chance as well with the
other winning chance being Jaxon Fella. He is likely to sit leaders back but may
struggle to get out as I don’t think they will be running along in this. Mighty
Flying Thomas probably goes 3 back the pegs and has back end first four claims,
I struggle to see anything outside these five running into the FF due to the
tempo of the race. Tip: No4 Naughty Maravu. Bet: No4
Naughty Maravu win, novelties around 1,2,3,4 and 10.

R3: This should
be a cracking race. I’m about 50/50 that Argyle Red can cross if it
really wants to, not sure that it will try though. As a result not sure who leads.
Livura has opened up a silly price, its likely to end up back behind the 11 Master Jaxon and 12 As Happy As Larry. Not saying it can’t win, think it’s well
suited to being the stalker just think it will get out to an EW price. Master
Jaxon jogged in its last start and is flying, the 9 starts for 1 win at GP does
concern me. No12 As Happy As Larry looks a fast class horse to me, Robbie
Williams will have some fun over the next 18 months with this guy. All that said
I’m going for a mini boilover with 10 Foxy
Dame. She got home just as well as A Piccadilly Princess IMO last week,
Alfred Will be minding his own business on the fence until about the 600m at
which stage I expect the gaps to be opening and she has the sprint off that run
to knock this off.Tip: No10 Foxy Dame. Bet: No10 Foxy Dame

R4: Cyamach looks
the leader with Ultimate Art outside of him. Think The Bucket List slots into the
1,1 as the 2 horse should go to the fence, Waylade behind him 1,2. Every chance
they stay like that for the majority of the 2900m. Cyamach led and was run down
by Smokey before the series started. I don’t think he’s going to cop pressure
like he did early that night so he will keep on trucking and definitely be a
part of the finish. Ultimate Art is a great horse but from what I’ve seen he
might be a bit too keen in running for a 2900m race, particularly if breezing
throughout. Initially I had it as The Bucket List’s race to lose. He has raced
very well through the series no doubt. My concern is when I looked back through
his wins I don’t think he has ever beaten a field of this calibre. So sitting
on his back and about double the price I’ll have something EW Waylade having the final crack at them,
he’s not one of mine but hopefully he is after this. Well done to anyone who
got some of the $16.Tip: No5 Waylade. Bet:EW No5 Waylade.

R5: Lets just
hope that seeing as its interdominion final night there’s plenty of “I like the
name of that one” type money getting bet and by some miracle Rub Of The Green gets out to $1.60. The
only issue this guy has is that he doesn’t fly the start but neither does
anything else on the front line so it shouldn’t be an issue. For me the
interest lies in who gets to the pegs behind him. I don’t know that Lewis will
go there which means The Storm Chief might be able to get there making him a FF
lock. Sometimes they don’t kick away on the shorties but I think they will so
FF should be on the lines of 1/2,10,12/2,10,12/2,10,12. If you can get
something else to the fence for you it will certainly help with value.

Tip:No1 Rub Of The Green. Bet: Don’t
think I’ll be betting here unless we can get a nice drift, someone start a
rumour perhaps???

R6: This will be
a tactical affair. Dodolicious has the early speed to hold the front, the more
I look at this race though the more I think they might hand up to A Piccadilly Princess. Dodo
wasn’t great the other day even with the run and whenever you hear team Bond speak they are
almost in awe of the invaders, I think that awe will see them do what probably
is the right thing and hand up to A Piccadilly Princess, from there she wins
with a hand break on. Plenty of other possible scenarios but I’m going to leave
it at this because this is what I believe will happen.

No4 A Piccadilly Princess.

R7: I think we
are going to see team Bond ride shotgun here with the 2 doing what he can early
to protect the rails for Soho Daytona. Interesting to see how Prentice
handless this, I think if he comes out in a measured approach he’ll be fine, if
he gets to the breeze easily enough on Soho Tribeca he is the one to beat, if
he comes out blazing I think he might be in some pain. I know Mr Mojito jogged
in last week, my concern is how he is going to get around GP 3 wide and when
Purdon is going to go.  I’d love to see
Colin Brown throw caution to the wind on Franco Rayner and come out humming
from 9, would really make the race and he’d be more than a flukers chance of
getting over. In the end though I have to back the little bull. Its Jnr at GP
on a little champ, I want to cheer him home! You know he’ll get a trail, you
know he’ll look a chance at some stage, just needs a bit if tempo and I think
it’s his at an EW price to boot.Tip: No8 Chicago Bull. Bet: EW No8 Chicago
Bull.

R8: The big
dance. I’d be lying if I said I was confident of predicting how they settle but I’ll
have a go. I see Runoneover leading with Bettors Fire outside him, I don’t
think they’ll go that hard over the first 200m but will speed up after that
when it looks like they have got their places almost too quickly if that makes
any sense, someone will get an itchy trigger finger. I think Hector goes back,
could definitely be wrong though! I’d love to see him go back, come with one
run and he just wins. I think if Bling It On makes any attempt to make whoever
is going to cross him work it will be the end of him, if he just lets it all
happen and conserves his energy then he is a chance. Again we can be pretty
confident jnr will get it right on Boaz so he will be in the finish. I’ve
mentioned him before but my sleeper is Our
Jericho. Yes this is a quantum leap for him but I think doing nothing in
the run he will run his heart out, his progress reminds me of Lombo Navigator
who I cleaned up on when he placed in the final (even if I did take the same
price prior to the series that I could have got once he made the final!). Good
luck with your thoughts, clearly on my line of thinking I wouldn’t rubbish
anyone for backing any runner!

R9: Don’t know
much about the trotters other than Cardigan Boko is a seriously good one and
that Sunnys Little Whiz is a clear second best by a long way. Good luck to
connections, I look forward to seeing if Sunny can make Cardigan work.

R10: Should be a
good early speed duel between the 1 Your Excused and 3 Our Regal Ideal. I think
there are two horses who will really love this, 4 Aereus Maximus and 11 Idolize me. Both just need a touch of luck
and they will be fitting out the finish at the big odds.
