Talk about get stitched up. Had the quaddie going with 7 runners in the last for different percentages.I checked the provs before the race and decided to even things out by backing my worse results.
After the race all the provs have completely changed bar the winner. All the other runners have increased significantly e.g.No 9 from around $2200 to $6966.
So going by the new provs my standout worse result was the winner.
Whats the point in having provisionals if you can just change them around after the race and why was the winner the only one not affected.
By the way I fully understand that a late scratching can affect the provisional price of a favourite but that had nothing to do with this.
The one thing I love about punting is theres always something new to have a whinge about.

Had same thing happen at Albany yesterday, SMS divvys for live legs to mate about 5 minutes after 7th race and they were $332, $383, $350 and $548, after final race they were $888, $835, $349 and $1272. Guess which one we got , the only one that went down.

My question is why are they changing, does it have anything to do with the scratching which was prior to 8am ?

Personally, I think the original approximates are accurate and the after the race ones are fiction. I missed the quaddy at Albany but was alive going into the last leg and I can confirm what Loose Goose says.
The after the race approximates are all way too high (except for the winner). I'm hoping it's just a glitch in the system but regardless it needs sorting out pronto.
Perhaps you WA dwellers can find out what's going on.

Had my first ever bet down the bay of isles yesterday and backed 5 from 7 with most being ridden by girls enjoyable afternoon sitting back watching the eastern states night meeting and having as throw at the stumps in Esperance gave me a nice little bank for today

I agree with you Rodent. I think the after race provisionals are way to high so if theres been a glitch in the system l'm happy to cop that. But if the after race figures are accurate then thats another matter.

same thing happening again today in every state, once divs are clear and paid the other provisional divs into the other runners are showing around 10 times more than the winner..

same thing happening everywhere, had some guy try explain to me whats going on but it didnt make sense one bit and to be honest i wasnt listening in that well lol... what confuses me is that these provisional divis for every other runner except the winner is changing right after the numbers have been put up, even well before correct weight has been declared and the divs released... now what happens if there is a protest 1st vs 2nd and its upheld, do we get the divi for the second horse that seems to be paying 20 times more than the winner or do they get adjusted again
