Have to be the worst MM field I've ever seen.
Pretty much a NSW FFA,with a kiwi thrown in,
Race seems to have lost its gloss??

Fantastic result for connections but the worst field i've seen assembled in a Miracle Mile.

Terror To Love is well below his best, because he should have smoked them.

Probably a little lack of depth at the moment
Chris.Im the mighty Quinn done enough for the time
been and Smoken Up not sure, but probably not as good as it was.Drops off pretty quick these days.
If Excel Stride is odds on in a miracle mile it speaks for itself.Maybe the timing of the race now is bad too,a lot of horses at end of campaigns.

The Miracle Mile is run annually in November.
The 2012 version was postponed to April 2013 due to extensive work on the facilities at Menangle (both for spectators and participants)
There will still be a Miracle Mile run in November 2013. After the Interdominion, most trainers decided to spell their horses and aim at the November version so it appeared weak. However, 5 participants from this years ID Final, including the second, third, and fourth placegetters, were in the race. To say it was a 'NSW FFA' or one of the worst fields assembled is a kick in the guts to ITMQ and his extraordinary performance to win the ID.

Smoken Up is injured and Carribean Blaster went completely out of form due to a long campaign. Christen Me went home and will be back for Novemeber (as far as I have heard). ITMQ went home and as far as I know will be back for November also.

Darren Binskin v Chief Steward was very interesting viewing. Binskin very unhappy with the inference and subsequent stewards action to scrach the horse
