To be honest I can’t get excited about LIV.

Cam Smith said a contributing factor for him joining LIV was the money and he can spend more time at home.
    54 hole tourneys ??? Team A vs Team B ???
Haven’t seen any of the LIV golf as yet and at this stage it doesn’t interest me.
As for betting ??? Not sure either.

I really hope he builds the foundations for accessible junior golf and programs in Australia. The lure of coming home and playing 3-5 times per year must have been too great, plus the rumoured 275 million.

For those interested, Smith is 7.50 to win the LIV event on the weekend, behind favourite DJ at 6.50.

Really, he should walk this in.

I'm a bit with you, I dont have any quams with the men that are joining but I think they need to work out who they are trying to reach and how they are going to do it.

If anyone having a bet with LIV, I've had 5 units on top 10 finishes for Smith, DJ and Niemann at $4.21. I think this is a great bet

Also with the Euro tour taking centre stage this week with no PGA, here are some "Made in Himmerlamd" tips from a good friend who is clued up on the euros.

Bet all at 8.78. I've had 15 units

    Armitage
    Waring
    Gurrier
    Pulkanen
    Hillikilde
    Norgaard Moller

Some viewing for the off weeks!

Should have had life savings on the Smith, DJ and Niemann top 10.

The BMW championship at Wentworth starts shortly.

Having a few sheckles on Rahm ($9.10) and Fitzpatrick ($12) outright. Both their games are in a good spot, more so Rahm who has found the putter as he closed out his year with this and 2 more events (Spanish events I think). Fitzpatrick has gone to another level this year and back in Europe he might just walk it in. Backed both 22.5 units to return 129.6 units.

It is a pretty good field. I've only backed these two outright, others I liked but didn't bet were

    Lowry
    Scott
    Rose

Another sneaky little first round bet I've had is Haotong Li top 20 after round 1 at 5.50. 5 units out here

    Good viewing

I've also had a few sheckles on the LPGA event this week and have gone searching for a winner in these 4 ladies

    Sei Young Kim $15
    Meghan Khang $26
    Alison Lee $29
    Sarah Schmelzel $126

Just the 1.25 units on each

Rahm with a closing 62 to be club house leader....was -2 through 9 holes (could have easily been -4) and then played the last 9 in -8 with a bogey!

Lowry the main danger and should win from here, he has 3 holes to play with the two par 5s.

McIlroy and Hovland not doing enough at the moment and have 4 holes to play

FML Lowry wins by a shot. Once again, change my strategy and it bites me ! Should have played the 5 blokes instead of 2.

Oh well PGA starts again this week

    Unlucky Bomber.
Playing golf and betting on golf are very similar. Both give you highs and lows. Haha.#-o
