    Couldn’t let my US Open tip go without at least having something on him.
    So I backed him to win the head to head 4th round battle with Xander Schauffele.
    Schauffele put the pressure on from the 9th thru to the 13th but Rahm held firm and finished in style.

    Today see the next tournaments fire up in both the US and Europe, with players starting to migrate across to Europe for the upming Open Chamionship ina few weeks

    In the US, the Travelers Championship is being well supported with many backing up after the US Open last week. Currently the big names in De Chambeau, Koepka and Johnson are all at the top of the betting.

    My investments lay with Harrris English winning the tournament after coming off an outright 3rd last week and has been playing super golf while flying under the radar somewhat. He is $36 to win the tournament. Also, Higgo backs up this week after missing the cut last week and have him as a top 20 prospect at around $2.75. 

    In Europe we have the BMW Championship where Victor Jovland is the favorite at $7.50 and Oosthuizen second favorite after last weeks 2nd placing at the US Open. Ive gone with Hovland after pulling out with an eye injury last start and think he can play some great golf back in Europe in prep for next month. Im with John Catlin for a top 20 finish after a freshen up from the US at 3.25.

    Harris English knocked me off in one of my head to head bets in the US Open
    English played steady consistent golf. Could be a good bet.
    I will throw in Cantlay as my tip.

    Well I don't want to jinx things but

    Hovland goes into Round 4 of the BMW leading by 3 strokes while

    Harris English is currently leading the Travelers mid way through round 3

    Loong way to go but....

    Get in the payout line for Hovland Bomber.
    Looks a class above and is well and truly in the zone.
    I reckon there is one certainty in the Travellers Championship…. There will be a playoff.

    State of play

    Hovland up by 3 going into Round 4

    English 2 behind at -8 after bogeys on 2 of last 4 holes

    Ideally Hovland gets the job done, pays for my bets.

    Then can sit back and watch English with straight out bet at $55 and multi with Hovland alive at $303-1

    Hovland even through 11 and is just not feeling it. He'll have to dig deep to win this. Kaymer about to birdie the last to tie things up at -17. Campillo also mounting a challenge at -16.

    Hovland finally gets a birdie to drop and then gets a clutch up and down to retain a 1 stroke lead. Death riding every shot from Hovland here :))

    Another birdie in 16 after an amazing chip should see him out being 2 shots clear with 2 to play. The hard par 3 17th and the easy last par 5.
