Would love to put in a claim for Hayburners by George Sortras...have message you. George Sortras had a very good horse called Magic Embrace that was a giant killer in its day. Fast class performer, only a small horse that raced in white harness.

Postal pixies delivered today, many thanks to Lame for most generous gesture. Had a quick glance through what seems to be a lot of funny stories and "incidents". George Sortras would have to be unique in that he held 4 different licenses across the codes...pacing trainer, reinsman, gallops trainer, rider...long before dual licensing became a reality. Will post a few snippets as I read it with pleasure.
