I can't believe this horse was picked up for $18k US. The story below says the dam is a half to Danehill, but looked at the breeding and she is a full. Speightstown is a cracking sire also. He has 2 from 2 and looks to be going places.

REDESDALE (c, 4, Speightstown–Harpia {GSW, $289,939}, by Danzig), a sharp and much-talked-about debut winner at Churchill May 26, hadn’t been seen since that effort, but entered with several swift breezes on display. Away well, the 4-5 chalk was content to track speedy Wainscott (Scat Daddy) through fractions of :22.39 and :45.60. Seemingly in deep water midway down the long Fair Grounds stretch, the bay found another gear in the late stages to reel in the pacesetter and prevail by 3/4 of a length. Despite being out of a graded stakes-winning half-sister to Danehill, Redesdale cost just $18,000 at last year’s Keeneland January sale. He is a half to First Word (Chester House), SP, $281,665; and an unraced 3-year-old colt named Conurbation (Candy Ride {Arg}). Click here for an interview with bloodstock agent and co-owner Chad Schumer. Lifetime Record: 2-2-0-0, $55,800.
