Promising galloper Ripper Rio has moved from the Brian Kersley stables to that of Grand Williams under new ownership.

"He feels a different horse", said Williams' trackwork rider.

The gelding is set to trial in two weeks following an excellent campaign at the end of 2016 winning in Bunbury & Northam before finishing 5th to Cronkite in town.

Ripper Rio's race record currently stands at 14 starts for 4 wins and 4 placings.
