Wide barriers at the 1100/1200m starts are not that bad..with a long run to the only turn of I think 700m+ - for the 1100m and 800m+ for the 1200m races...however favoured runners do not need to be tracking up 5/6 or 7 deep at the turn though so it is preferable to be nearer the speed generally.

Cracking races all three fellas or what do you boys reckon? ... our boy BART will be super hard to beat.

I have highlighted my main fancy for each race, I love that Shane Nichols takes of the older horses with his Star filly I Am A Star..she can figure with 50kg and some luck getting cover before the turn...

If Pariah wins I will have successfully pulled off one of the biggest wins from a "futures" fixed odds bet in years...
placed it before it debuted and won last month, I've also had had a nibble at Jukebox weeks ago at 21's

re the Futurity, i read a comment from someone that has made a case for Palentino to knock off the stable mate, i'll dig it up and share it

^^ yeh has crossed my mind too re: Palentino but maybe the track/small field wont suit it(not enough pace on??)..

Pariah will be right in it good luck!.Of the fillies I like Tulip, potentially at my peril I may knock Catchy..i want Williams to have his best ride in the Oakleigh Plate...

    quote and not mine!

I feel like I'm cheating on Black heart Bart its one of my favourite horses. But I've noticed that he doesn't win 2 in a row. I decided to go through his entire career form and found that the last time he won 2 in a row was 2015 in Western Australia he won 4 straight going through the grades. Before you'll start kicking off I'm not saying he cannot win I'm just stating the facts on his form.  palentino is a stallion and ran a bottler against Bart last start flashing  home it makes sense for palentino to win to increase stallion value as Bart is a gelding. Also Bart is odds on and palentino is $8. Gunna put my theory to the test with a $100 win on palentino...

Im not keen on the price @$1.80 he may be an anchor in a multi or two idk yet.
In that race i only see 4 chances to run top 3 BHB, TML, Palentino and Ecuador(maybe Our Rokkii in for 3rd in case Palentino underachieves).

So betwise id have a leg in Quin Bart with Palentino and Turn Me Loose who will be fitter and was only beaten a length last start.

Sheidel looks a ridiculous price to me in the Oakleigh. Her run in the Winterbottom was huge, no cover into the howling sea breeze we had that day. I'll be having a solid EW especially with the Magic Man on board.

Jukebox had an incident this morning, has been vetted and is scratched from the diamond tomorrow  :((

Bad luck there Hash, 3 scratchings now.

RE Palentino i saw Mark Zahra interviewed tonight he didnt sound that confident the horse can win .. "track and maybe the horse seeking 1600 of some concern is a solid top 3 chance" is roughly what he said.Thinking ill drop Ecuador from my tri and throw in Rokkii and Lucky Hussler in for third.
Turn Me Loose is the hardest for BHB To beat imo.

Well backed Sheidel 11.00 into 8.00 and won't know itself with 53kg.

Got smashed by Hellbent from memory last time in but she is just so consistent, something he isn't.

Fair to say she would have to be the best horse Dave Harrison has trained? Can't think of many better?

Sheidel is a big firmer Torp.

I dont think Hellbent is a topliner yet or will be? May get the pace on he needs tomorrow but winner ran 1.02.5 in that last run at caulfield that aint leisurely..and the 3yo filly beat him comfortably and she was 1st up..

Honourable mention to Ellicazoom too who is in r4.An EW chance.

Not sure on Hellbent, beat Sheidel easily last time they met with 2kg pull in the weights. Tomorrow only 1kg but drawn wide and Sheidel gets a cushy gate and the genius of Moreira. Coins in the air but maybe Hellbent just.

El Divino looks crazy odds tbh with the weight. I'll be including these 3 in exotics.

Hey Skids, have you hacked my betting account? I agree with Muraahib and having a go at Roomooz also. I like MRD and IAAS also. Having a sneaky bet on Vengeur Masque in the first.

Dunn knows how to win a Blue Diamond, dont know the stats but i'm pretty sure he's the jockey that's dominated and won it more than any other

Another juicy priced winner for the Get On boys(gator & richo)$9 fixed for Boom Time was ridiculously good odds.

The scratchings are piling up-now a heavy 8. Is this what brings Winx's winning to an end or does Waller pull the plug?
