Go to NSW Race Replays for Orange March 20th. Check out the ride for Race 6 horse # 2. Hirokin. Settled third and ran third , what happens in between :-O

    Hirokin – overraced in the middle stages; after taking evidence from Trainer Mr. J.
    Austin and rider App. J. Pracey-Holmes, an inquiry was adjourned into the handling
    of this runner to allow Stewards to examine wagering records and Hirokin’s racing
    history; a post-race veterinary examination failed to reveal any obvious abnormalities.

    Tony is on the money, he doesn`t get much wrong.

    The strange part is, he had his 1st ride in 10/11, 6 years and 147 winners later, he is still an apprentice?

    The race was a prelude to the Orange Cup to be run Friday April 7th. Will back and watch with interest. The way he hit the line could be the best of good things.

    Was scratched from the Orange Cup. Hoop given one month suspension.

    check of Dwayne Dunn's ride just then in the 3rd at Pakenham on the $1.30 fav

    hooked back to dead last and ridden like Winx only grind home for 3rd.... i know it drew gate 12 but there's no reason to be getting it so far back

    Hirokin next start after Orange was a handy run at a Canterbury midweek then taken to Mudgee on May 6th for a win in the Goree Cup at the surprisingly good odds of around $7. Sometimes patience really is a virtue. Only one run between March 20th and May 6th...turns up at Mudgee on a Saturday and delivers.
