Reports this motning that Racing Queensland have taken legal advice on implementing rule of  racing

    AR55 which states

All nominations are subject to the approval of a PRA or the Stewards. Either may decline to receive or after receiving reject any nomination in their absolute discretion and without giving reasons for so doing.

Suspended trainer Ben Smith has a further 10 charges to answer after stewards concluded their inquiries into the elevated cobalt levels returned by former Smith-trained gallopers.

Smith, the former trainer of Group I winners In Her Time and El Dorado Dreaming, had his licence suspended after stewards laid two serious charges against him following a stable raid in September last year.

Four horses trained by Smith returned positives to cobalt late last year and “a number of unlabelled and/or unregistered substances” were also confiscated during the raid.

Stewards held inquiries into evidence they gained during the investigation on February 14 and March 12, which the latest 10 charges stem from.

How can you say that Falcon. Just because Skids thought that 5 winners and a third from his last ten starters on the previous page in his opinion put allegations of cheating well and truly to bed. Doesn't mean he still believes it lol

The big word there is JUST. For the amount of money he gained 4 years is token. It should have been a total life ban from the industry. We are not in the eighties!
