Last chance for Harry Thomas(race 3). I'm not sure if I'm backing it but I just want to see smokin Joe take no prisoners. Sitting in behind something and sprinting is not his go so holding his position from inside gates is a task. Ride him like you stole him, Joe.

race 4 looks the most competitive race on the card, 8 or 9 winning chances for mine

Wow, the ground shot clearly showed Ace's Wish the winner

I think the long shot supported Ace's Wish as well. A very narrow margin but a margin nonetheless.

there has been some weird photos lately!

I believe that Ace's Wish won. After studying the photo, Harry Thomas looks to have a nose an elephant seal would be proud of. This abnormal distortion is not evident in the video and I believe it to be a shadow or artifact.
I'm having trouble with the image quality but everything points to Ace's Wish having a clear margin.

i think the decision is probably right.
i put the video on the computer, and i can't find a margin on the line, either side of it yes, but not right on line

Do me a favour. In the video have a look at the front legs of Ace's Wish 2 frames and then 1 frame before the finish. I'm sure the extended front leg looks to elongate the nose of Harry Thomas just before the finish. I hope that hasn't led to a dark artifact that looks to extend the nose of Harry Thomas on the line.

@Rodent Dark artifact? Are you  serious? Both groups of owners/trainers have a right to inspect the photo before correct weight is declared.

I'm having trouble matching up the replay to the photo also. Back leg of third horse extended backward in photo. Not evident in replay. Hmmmm

If you look at the video replay, the 3rd horse's hind leg is extended as that hind leg crosses the line. Remember that's how the photo finish works.

I fail to see how anyone can definitively get a margin there.

    Dead Heat correct imo.

Not sure how the photo finish picture works but the nose of Harry Thomas looks odd (Rumpelstiltskin).

PS. I was on Harry Thomas.

it does but it's their nostrils
if you click on photo and it enlarges then you can see it better.
most horses have it looking the same.

wa has history as far as wrong decisions go, as rodent well knows, but i can't see a problem with this one myself.
