At least Agar (41*) and Cummins (25) batted properly to get AUS to 213, 47 behind.

More of a Lyon man myself but yeah not really a fan of Khawaja

Edit: Marsh can be abit inconsistent for me sometimes but would prefer him to Khawaja (might be the WA bias in me)

I'm not totally convinced Khawaja is the man for the job especially on tour but one flop(got run out in the 1st dig)doesn't make his reselection a fopah imo..plus he is the better choice for the Ashes his record in Australia is very good.

Hoping they get up and win this test...a.loss would be very embarassing

Agreed in that we kinda have to win this one and so far doesn't look like a loss as of now with us being 2-109 and being 155 runs short but anything can happen still

no way the Aussies will wanna lose to Banga, look for these two in warner and smith to step up and get the win, worse case one of the two get out they still have a bit of depth down the order that will be able to get the job done.. take the $1.60  $-)

After last night watching the West Indies cause a mass boil over and defeat England in the second test at Headingly...anything can happen!

One of the best test victories have seen with many of the star West Indian players at home playing in the Carribean Premier league and especially after being defeated comprehensively in the first test. Gutsy effort.

AUS 7/199 at lunch (Warner 112, Maxwell 14*, Cummins 2*)
    Need another 66 to win.

If BAN manage to beat AUS, it will be only the fifth Test nation they would have beaten.
This is the 5th Test between BAN and AUS, AUS won the 4 previously.

    They have won 5/14 v ZIM; won 2/12 v WI; won 1/10 v ENG and won 1/18 v SL.
They haven't beaten NZ (13 Tests), PAK (10 Tests), SA (10 Tests) or IND (9 Tests).

Overall record before this Test: 100 Tests; 9 wins, 15 draws, 76 losses.

UH OH...we have lost 5 wickets after being 2/158..now at a precarious 7/199 still need 66 odd to win..ffs.

Great ton by Warner, not much else worth mentioning..Could the "big show" carry us home [-O<

Don Bradman would be turning in his grave knowing how pathetic the baggy green are.
And also losing to a country he probably had never heard of in his day.
Do test runs, wickets and averages still apply against such a country such as Bangladesh ??

Try telling Jason Gillespie that his 201* v Bangladesh in 2006 doesn't count.

It's a good point you bring up though, especially when you want to compare, for example, the two leading wicket takers in Test cricket. 176 of Murali's 800 Test wickets were against ZIM and BAN, as opposed to only 17 of Warne's 708 Test wickets.

Paul was there a 50 over game about 8-10 years ago that Bangladesh won ?...recall it well because Australia before the game were $1.01 not sure if they have beaten Australia since in the fifty over format.

That 50 over game was about the first time had seen a $1.01 shot go down...seen a few in various sports since though.

That was the game that Symonds got dropped for "being under the weather" after a big night out on the eve of the game. That game was part of the triangular series, between AUS, BAN and ENG, before the Ashes series in 2005. Out of the 20 ODIs between AUS and BAN, BAN has only won once, lost 18, with one no-result.

AUS 5/249 (50 ov) lost to BAN 5/250 (49.2 ov)

Remember hearing the Tab fixed odds session on racing radio that there were some bets on Australia in the 50 over game that Bagladesh won of $1000 on to win $10 and $500 to win $5 :-O
