A lazy 44 runners for Sunday. Nine races and no entrant in race six. Leaves an average of 5.5 starters for the other eight races.

Makes Hall , Bond, Waterhouse , Waller , Peters domination look tame!

One of Ben's going around in the claimer Jukebox Music can recall being a very smart horse with a strong finish. Am sure have backed him at Harold Park!

The 14 year old Destreos going around in race 6...in 2009 he was running against horses like Lombo Pocket Watch , Be Good Johnny, and Blacks A Fake. Just to name a few.

His foaling date was 14th November 2003...so his real birthday soon approaching. He deserves a fresh apple fruit basket with sugar cubes!

When Destreos was competing against the best of the best in 2009.. Josh Gibson was still playing for North Melbourne!

Just the two winners for Ben Yole from forty four runners.

Unfortunately in race one trained the last five placegetters , race two trained the final six placegetters, and race three again the final five. However having that many runners always a chance of happening but must be a record just the same!

Destreos a gallant fourth to Devendra. When Destreos was running against champions 8 and 9 years ago Devendra a future Interdominion finalist was just coming into the world. He's now eight years old. Foaled on October 24th 2009...his birthday tomorrow in fact.

Puts the racing longevity of Destreos into perspective - freakish.
