    Wowsers.

So this punter has 230K in their account and withdraws 150K. (already indicates that this person is not a small punter). Leaving 83K in the account.

Then proceeds to loose 83K IN 23 MINUTES (Indication of a problem 1). Adds another 3K to account and is gone within minutes (Indication of a problem 2).

4 hours later, DEPOSITS ANOTHER 35K and loses it under 1 hour (Indication of a problem 3). So now they are down 121K. But all good as 150K is coming to their account.

Oh but no, requests not once but 4 times to reverse 150K withdrawal (indication of a problem 4). It is granted on the 4th request (Betfair mistake 1) as after review of the account they dont see any indication of a problem (Betfair mistake 2)

Loses the 150K in quick time (Indication of a probelm 5). So now in a 271K hole.

Said punter then complains that they were the victim of not being managed correctly under responsible gambling laws (indication of being a slimy no shame ####). TECHNICALLY this is correct.

Where is the accountability here? Does this open a can of worms for other punters? Hopefully for Betfairs sake they havent done any once offs for anyone else.

The ruling says that Betfair didnt act under the responsible gaming laws. That is true. How they determnined that this persons actions were nor problematic ill never know. You dont wake up one day and drop this coin. And Betfair pay the price for this. Id love to know what the +/- for this account was at the time.

This will only add to the tightening up and restriction of accounts.

Im sure this punter has given it +++++ back in this time anyway

Does it open a can of worms for other punters? In short, fuck yeah. Expect no wiggle room in any way shape or form.
