It has come to my attention that first 4's regardless of venue and perhaps because of it are paying very well.
If anyone has the time I reckon it would be interesting to get some exclusively first 4 pics for Narrogin tomorrow night.
Not much lead in time I know .....but the thrill is better if you are jamming the ticket in when they have 50m to go in the score up.

Going to anchor 7,8 to win. So goes like this...
First: 7, 8
Second: 1, 2, 7, 8
Third: 1, 2, 7, 8
Now the tricky part for a good dividend put these roughies in for 4th.
Fourth: 3, 4, 5, 6, 9.
Also reverse it with another ticket 3,4,5,6,9 for third and 1,2,7,8 fourth.

Literally galloped away in race 1 - should have had the first four, had a feeling something might go wrong with one of the faves...and what a run by the fourth horse. Couldn't believe it when was storming home into fourth. That was a real kick myself for not getting that.
The only time things started to turn around was when thanks to a great drive on Mr. Rollins, getting onto the favourites back helped to get some of that one.
Just an average dividend there, Mr. Rollins was 50/1 in areas.
In race 8 considering the favourite Tims Portrait the favourite ran 4th and Suvaljko won the race on the tight second fave, the $1319 on the first four was incredible.
The second horse was 4th fave and think nobody could credit De Campo could get three back pegs from gate 5 and that provided the value when snatched third.
They'll get it all back in time, but fun while it lasts.
Ive never known a period in Australia Harness Racing - Aust wide where the favourites are dominating like the present
Mildura last night - prior perids there used to be a bit of value
$1.90
$1.70
$1.60
$1.40
$1.60
$4.20 ( Open race fave $3.40 who ran 2nd )
$1.60
$3.90 ( 2nd fave - fave $2.50 wo ran 2nd)
Next start from the stand will be watching Tom.
Billy Mack was good too, if he could have forged his way to the front - very much a one batter - might have taken some running down.
Was gone, but still boxed on for fourth.
The standing start race was the best of the night, good beginners and gallopers, early moves and contests for the lead, drivers in two minds whether to make a move or not.
The standing start - the thinking man's race - that's probably why Victoria got rid of them.

$1.00 return on two horses.
Oh Tabcorp, you've done it again.
Something is wrong somewhere in a system where you can't win on a bet - but you can lose!!
If a casino operated under that premise they'd be shut down.

Would like to know how much would the corporates/tab lose fixed odds on a winning night of odds on faves and shorties such as at Mildura last night ?
It's all swings and roundabouts though.
As soon as one or two odds on pops don't win - their making up good ground.
All in the punters interests, normally means one thing - it's the opposite.
Shifting money between pools - need to see the intricacies - but one thing it will favour is Tabcorp - otherwise they wouldn't be doing it.
To help punters - drop takeout rates - all they've done in the previous 30 years is increase.
Also round dividends to the nearest 5 cents or ten cents.
How they get away with rounding DOWN to the nearest 10 cents is unbelievable. $1.89 take $1.80.
Where is the competition and consumer watchdog ?
Also one last rant - unclaimed dividends go to the government.
It's the punters money - return it to the those that invested it - punters.
