Very much looking forward to race eight the trotters race today, a race between three good ones and with the way the barrier draw has gone will be interesting.
Sunnys Little Whiz from gate 1. Sonoflindenny 5. Son Of Anarchy 10.

He's got the shocker of a draw Son Of Anarchy but was impressive last week when driven aggressively and grinded out a terrific win.
Sunnys Little Whiz even though just 4th first up from a spell was a good run when pressured strongly and fought on well. Gate 1 today.
Sonoflindenny - very consistent - C. Lewis.

The trotters can do the dipsy doodle but look for these three to dominate the placings. Should be close to 1,2,3 or at worst 1,2.
Balmoral Boy and Tenno Show also place hopes. The rest 100/1.

For me in order it's Son Of Anarchy - Sunnys Little Whiz - Sunoflindenny. But only a breathe between the three.
+1 -1

In R4 if Armbro Bliss can find the front he can be very hard to run down, well overs IMO

Go Home Jo from the #1 should be prominent in the next race.

Nearly got there VK. Thought the fave was in a bit of froth and bubble, but Lewis cajoled her home.

Much better run Stunnin Eyes Only - always had a fraction of ability and sometimes shows it. Put value into the first four ( bless her ). Well driven too. $16 a drum tote and $5 fixed.

Starlight Destiny looked a threat on the corner - just a battling run. Seen her been slightly dissapointing a couple of times now.

A couple other Lewis drives drives today to win and be placed - all class - I'm buggered how he keeps doing it.

He's not the dashing driver of the 80s and 90s - experience in the noggin it must be. To think that guy was bringing them home when I was carrying the tranny radio to listen to them in skool. That's going back along time.

And just as finish writing - glance at the Melton result $11.40 - Chris Alford - he's the same! Dare say - driving in the peak of his career.

Drove at Maryborough today - Melton tonight. The hunger is still strong.

Riders ACL has been driving winners as long as I have been alive...hopefully he keeps going for many a year to come.

Sunnys Little Whiz right into even money. Son Of Anarchy out to $3.
The first 50 metres will be interesting Sunnys Little Whiz, Tenno Show and Balmoral Boy should contest it early.

This race will be a humdinger if they all trot! Last week Justin Prentice drove Son Of Anarchy with confidence. Sunnys from the one looks no pushover this time - and Sonoflindenny has Lewis and it's a good trotter too.

Perfect drive Vance Stampalia - behind leader, sprint lane - made it look too easy. Was helped by Tenno Show galloping at the start to get that spot.
Sunnys and Son Of Anarchy every hope just the same.

He goes well Balmoral Boy - he was my fourth selection! Haha

Tenno Show can either trot without a care in the world - or bubbles badly. Kell Road Kid - must know her way to Pinjarra by herself. Wouldn't be a trotters race at Pinjarra without the grey being there.
But the old grey mare she ain't what she use to be.

The two drives on the bolters 2nd and 3rd - S. Suvaljko and C. Peterson - just sensible good drives. Suvaljko you mostly expect that and Peterson is getting better and better.

A.C.Lewis driving winners for 48years one real indescretion when he let c.brown in the 2010 McInerney classic a legend with punters whatever price they are and whether it's a ro or pacing cup.

With the seeming promise of the Follow The Stars x Northern Luck mares cross in the 2 y/o brigade ...Aristocratic Star - Team Mascot look to be very handy horses .....will have an exploratory wager on Our Star Carly in the first today at Pinjarra. By FTS  out of the very handy Northern Luck mare Countess Krista and it has shown flashes of ability in trials for trainer The Barefoot Bushman ...Dean Miller.

Like the nine in the last, no luck last start.
Although distance might be a worry, early pace and i see him over the top of them at the finish.
Bit of each way value fixed odds.

Via Gears is an unraced 25 year old stallion, sired 16 live foals (no winners) after a late start (first offspring in 2013). A Bill Duffy/Laurel Schofield horse by Golden Gears out of Safely Kept Secret (out of Via Vista) which makes him a brother to Turquia who won a race a two last season. So in short, yes, goes back to Via Vista.

She battled away ok curmudgeon especially for a $98 and nearly $13 a place on the tote.
Daresay if she could have got behind the leader instead of three back she goes very close to running a place.
Was not helped when the winner was a little bit scratchy early which enabled the the second place getter a crack for the lead and then opened up a little gap to duck in behind just before Carly could grab it.
Would say a better than 50% place chance if could have got that spot.
That would have left the second horse in the breeze with her behind the fave, it's a big difference and Carly may have run third or a fourth at worst.

Liam Neil is a $3.50 second fave later , he sat one out one back the other night at midweek GP and never fired a shot. Was very ordinary - however things like that can happen and might be a different horse today, but on face value on his last run he needs to lift big time.

Vincenzo and Talkerup as soon as saw them in again...here we go! They'll be running a minimum of twice a week for the next year, all sorts of odds and placings - but yep they'll be running and running!

    Amazing stuff really.

Of Auld Aberdeen what a legend he was, it was the beginning.
Someone else might know but can't recall ever a trainer in WA (or Australia ) who would have backed horses up so often.

Recall seeing Digger Of Fortune win a weak race in Melbourne on a Sunday - if somebody had then explained what that horse would achieve when coming to WA - would have said no way.

And would you believe it Vincenzo gets up at $24 and Talkerup runs 3rd in the same race.

Find it's difficult betting races or difficult to assess when those regular types go around twice a week - they can be on song on a Monday and dropping out of a race on the Friday.

No knock though - always 100% wary of them. Couldn't possibly be on Vincenzo today but not totally surprised either - seen it happen too often before.
Mark Reed too - he may suit these horses - he's always been a good driver can sit or really hustle and bustle them along - which Svilicich trained horses seem to like.

Next run Vincenzo could win again - could run last. One thing definite though - won't have to wait long to find out.

Noticed Lady Lani placed today at $12 and My Mojito placed at over $8 the other night - both inside back row draws. Not a bad spot to be for bolters - seen many races Australia wide whereby the "66/1" chance lobs in for a place from the inside of the back row.
In running the other night at Northam - Mr Mojito was looking pretty good for a place at long odds and again Mark Reed.

He wasn't going very fast, but the ones coming wide begin to flounder and the ground saved on the pegs proves invaluable.

Hey riders with regards to trainers backing up horses theres a trainer in Victoria named brian kiesey who will often race his horses on consecutive days. He had n old trotter a few years back that would be often vetted because of this fact! He raced a mare that had over or close to 70 starts in a season including 10-12 race starts per month. His current trotter It’s not dark yet recently put together 10 race starts in 35 days. Its racing on Wednesday at yarra valley
