I just don’t get it.
Bumper Humper wins the first 2YO race of the season.Fronts up again on Saturday and has the same weight as the if he was a first starter.
According to the race conditions,for Set Weights and Penalties for 2yo:a horse that has won a race of over $18,000 or more will be given a 2kg penalty ang 2 races 3,5kg.
Am I missing something.

Yes, you are missing something. Bumper Humper is a filly and will carry 2kg more than the unraced fillies. She will carry the same weight as the unraced colts and geldings.
