Bob has two in it... Superstorm drew terribly... I wonder if Willie will go for Regal Power as a result?

No knock on AB but into open company and meeting some group 1 genuine milers he might be in trouble holding them off late.

Like Melody Belle too but last start had the run of the race and couldn't make any ground on the front two. With Streets Of Avalon leading all the way. Oakleigh plate winner led all the way, Blue Diamond winner was up on speed - they were like that all day. Damian Lane got the final winner into the box seat.
IF plays like that again, good luck getting past the Alligator, or any horse in the top four.
Never been convinced about track bias but Caulfield is a special one, have seen it happen there often.
$11 and $13 respectively - that would make them between $3 and $4 a place - that's very tempting, if both are over $3 on the day on the tote that would be pretty good.
Think either of them could win it, let alone run a place. Will be surprised if both miss top three.

Vic punters love the west Aussie horses and overall Perth form - not! Gatting 125/1, Bart 100/1, Regal Power 12/1.
Beaux Art, Rogan Josh etc...considering everything WA does more than ok. Celestial Show placed in a Caulfied Cup another one, Northerly went ok. Plastered wasn't bad. Plenty more. The list is pretty high quality.
They can't do well all the time, but they've carried the flag pretty well over the journey.

Some of the eastern states horses in the middle range market there - well we've seen that type run here sometimes - often there not much good.

Taken Bob many years to work this out!!
Lords Ransom and Perfect Reflection are 2 other examples, imagine what they could have done if left with original trainer :-?
