First meeting of the Busso season, great to see it back am sure it will be very eventful.
Have gone Suvaljkos first three Emily, Dan and Dan.
Either way great just to sit back and watch some good racing.
Good luck to all.

Im not sure if any horse has ever loved the Busselton track as much as Captain Proud does.
Notches up another win at his beloved Busso.

Guest call by John Hunt. He must be on holidays down there.

Summed up Busselton to a tee when he said "I think there is 1 1/2 laps to go".

We missed his call on course, the PA was on the blink for that race....must have been feeling the cold. Hopefully, it's a warmer night on Friday. Was a monster crowd early in the night but understandably, they drifted off back to the Caravan Parks pretty quickly or sort refuge from the wind in the bar/tote building which remained packed tight all night. I wonder whether Hunty has ever called at Busso before......ticking off a box perhaps?
  • Hunty was holidaying in Busselton and came to the trots. I offered him a call, he had never called at the track before.

Maybe the on course sound system was trying to tell you something.

Looks another great crowd on track tonight and some great racing so far, big effort by Fatal Attack to win after missing the start off the 30m.
Can the track specialist Busso boy Captain Proud win another at his beloved track in Race 6 off 30m?

Can Jay Jay - jag a race to race double - give them strength and luck

Looking at their form though - i reckon both need to step and lead - hopefully step straight to the front - stack them up and walk them and hopefully get the money

That was a great drive by Trent Wheeler - booting it clear when he did - put the issure beyond doubt

Last 150 metres was stress free for Jay Jay - probably telling onlookers in the home straight  about Cut Aboves upcoming foal - hah

My first ever bet on Busselton and only because my cousin Gordon overseas emailed me today. Sometimes it pays to forget studying form and just go on omens.  :-B

Congratulations to JJ with The Situation bringing up his second win in a row at Busso, as Marko posted above it was a great drive by Trent Wheeler.

Classic. He also said something about
Fifo being employed or working into it. Don't recall the exact line

Albany tonight slim pickings with a couple of smarties attending.
Race 3 Grapellies Boy Demi Robert’s aboard, big run couple starts back, can lead or sit from # 1
Race 4 Adda Tarrentela same as above, reckon at best can kick over the fav easily.
