I remember a day long ago when the novelty that was 20/20 was exciting(a greenhorn Warner smashing 150km/h Steyn thunderbolts over the midwicket fence hell i'll always remember that)...sadly that was long ago it's now mostly rubbish imo, in fact cricket in general barely grabs my attention anymore and i will likely not watch any of this "tournament" AT ALL.

Yep, the Australian cricket scene (and probably the international scene as well) has degenerated into a second rate soap opera, overwhelmed by overpaid look at me types who don't produce on a regular basis but never offer to pay back any of their ridiculous contracts. So much money, so little of it trickles back down to keep the game vibrant, India probably the exception, apparently Namibia and Papua New Guineas as well.I am no fan of Justy as a coach, huge respect when he was playing, but all this intensity, focus crap he carries on with leaves me cold, no wonder he gives the players the screaming irrits. And T20 never appealed and even less nowadays. Not for me. And yes, zero knock on Paul, he does a great job siphoning off facts and figures from all the garbage written in print.

Especially when the ICC decide to switch around the teams who qualify halfway through the opening stage. If they went with the original setup, Namibia and Scotland would have been in our group, whilst Bangladesh and Sri Lanka would have been in Group 2. However, they changed it once it became obvious that Sri Lanka and Scotland were going to win their groups easily.

Personally, I'm not a huge fan of international T20 cricket. I think it's an ideal format for women's cricket and perhaps domestically (if you don't take it too seriously). However, with not much sport on at night time atm, it's just something to watch, as opposed to the regular s*** that's on TV.

Personally, I'm not a huge fan of international T20 cricket. I think it's an ideal format for women's cricket and perhaps domestically (if you don't take it too seriously). However, with not much sport on at night time atm, it's just something to watch, as opposed to the regular s*** that's on TV.

Warner and Mitch Marsh accumulated most of the runs i believe from a couple of notifications on my phone.I assume WI are down the order rankings wise but getting to 161 with nearly 4 overs remaining is a good effort.

Well we beat the Paki's with an over to spare.
Needed 22 off 12 balls got them all in the 19th over as Matty Wade went coco-loco hitting 3 sixes in a line to finish the match, onya fella.
Stoinis and Wade put on an unbeaten 81 for the 6th wicket.Warner 49(30), Stoinis with 40(30) & Wade 41(17) were the main guys ensuring we got the win, Mitch Marsh 28(22)contributed too.

Few flops namely Finch a golden duck, Smith 5 and Maxwell 7 so if a couple of them fire we would be a very big chance in the final, we're playing the Kiwi's i see.

Not sure what Warner did wrong here. The ball is still "live" despite it being a no ball. Warner wasn't against the spirit of the game by hitting the ball for six. At one time and certainly when I was a cricket umpire, double bouncers were legal deliveries but that part of the no-ball law was changed roughly 2 or 3 years ago meaning double bounce delivery's are now no-balls.
