Hugh Greenwood departure hysteria.
Playing devils advocate here.
Thought Hugh Greenwood agreed to be part of the delisting. And then took the money and security. Player loyalty ???
Gold coast obviously didn`t see him in their long term plans because of his age etc.
Freed up a spot on the list for a potential up and comer and freed up some salary cap space. Rowel King Miller wouldn`t come cheap to keep them there.
Maybe Gold Coast knew a potential deal from a rival club would happen and this was their way of satisfying both clubs. North Melboune hardly a destination club considering they finished last this year. Not sure Greenwood is a player who will enable them to take the next step I reckon.
Greenwood was with the Crows and requested a trade to Gold Coast....chasing the money ??? Brandon Ellis another one chasing the Gold Coast money.
Maybe the coach wants players that can get the football and constructively use it rather than looking for the tackle when his stars are having a spell on the bench.
Just sayin

He’s been a great player but his best days are behind him. We unlike your winged Eagles have plenty of youth coming through not to mention draft picks.
You are in for a five year flogging my friend.

Media says Freo should pick locals so they won’t go back to home state.
Freo pick two locals and odds are they are either Eagles or Freo supporters but who really cares.
Eagles pick a Victorian player.
So who is right.
My opinion it’s a lottery,,if I had my way I would have picked the bloke who the Lions got and had all his young Mates with him and they jumped all over him.
That’s what it’s all about.

In two years time he will be your only backline player. You’ve got Pertacelli I suppose but he avoids contact at all costs, so not much good as a back man.
Your club is a train wreck waiting to happen.
West Coast and it’s supporters like you refuse to acknowledge it.
One last tilt at the premiership LOL !!!
How the f$@ck is West Coast going to beat the likes of Melbourne, Western Bulldogs etc etc.
You will be watching from the sidelines in shame for a very long time my friend.
Ten years plus IMO.
Excited now.

He thought he would throw a hook in the water to get a bite. Unfortunately he got spooled.
He’s used to fishing with hundred pound line, now he only has 2 pound line and keeps getting bitten off.
The fishing is certainly getting better down Freo way Det, maybe you should join in with the strength.

Arrogance at its best.
With the relinquishing of Subi oval as your nest and the effects of covid draining your funds it is now a level playing field for all clubs. WC will no longer be able to influence results with their big stick. They are now just like any other club.
Scary part is they haven’t bottomed out yet.
That is why it will be 10 years plus.
Who would have thought Richmond in the eighties would see the drought they did.
Freo will be four Cups before you tossers raise your next.
There you go I have said it.

Wouldn’t bother commenting if it wasn’t for you two clowns.
Get the cricket over and done with and bring back the footy.

Why didn’t they pick Michael Randall.
Would have been a seem less transition into WC.

Have a look in your own backyard.
Piss (some can’t apparently) drugs and major reshuffles.
Not necessarily in that order.
Signs are terrible.
Some light reading for Homer.
