The field for this years Scahill is very disappointing. It really should be the next race for half the Winterbottom field but it comes up too soon, only 2 horses backing up as far as I can see.  Is it time to run the Winterbottom on Railway day?  There’s virtually no crossover any more and then give horses out of both 2 weeks into the Scahill?  Winterbottom day is the weak link anyway so do we just almost treat it as a week off and have 2 massive days?

    Totally agree that the Scahill could be 2 weeks after the Winterbottom. That would be ideal for those horses and would also give the Railway runners the chance to have a slight freshen-up and go to the Scahill 3 weeks between runs.
