A little interference

Harness & Greyhounds
Someone on Twitter highlighted the following race to me. Tell me your thoughts as mine are pretty damn clear; Ban Jason Lee for life, fine him the equivalent of 2nd-5th prize money and use it to pay the owners of the horses he effed over. I am absolutely speechless. Protest dismissed, inquiry adjoined. vomit.

Open to be convinced as to why the protest 3rd against 2nd was dismissed??? In my view, the disqualification rule has a place for extreme incidents like this.

Jason Lee, driver of Im Ready Jet, pleaded not guilty to a charge
under Rule 163(1)(a)(iii) in that at approximately the 300m he permitted
Im Ready Jet to shift out when not clear of Sundons Courage which
contributed to the interference suffered by that runner when Sundons
Courage was contacted by Im Ready Jet and Temporale NZ resulting in
Sundons Courage being severely checked and breaking gait and Just
Believe, Margaret Ruth and Rules Dont Apply being checked.

Daryl Douglas, driver of Temporale NZ, reserved his plea to a charge
issued under Rule 163(1)(a)(iii) in that after passing the 300m and Im
Ready Jet commencing to shift out he directed Temporale NZ in and
continued to do so which resulted in Temporale NZ failing to maintain a
full three wide position which contributed to the interference suffered
by Sundons Courage when Sundons Courage was contacted by Im Ready Jet
and Temporale NZ resulting in Sundons Courage being severely checked and
breaking gait and Just Believe, Margaret Ruth and Rules Dont Apply
    being checked.
