    That can’t be it, her best chance of another big check is the Melbourne cup again, they could pressure Carpenter to get in well at the weights Makybe Diva style.

    She’s there because the owners want the experience, I’ve bagged the 2 main owners before and I still think they’re flogs but I can’t blame them here.  Just having a runner in the Arc would be huge and she’s good enough to at least not embarrass herself.

    Yeh, arguably could have won the MC again this year.
    Owners prerrogative, i too reckon their dickheads to some degree but fairs fair its not a random thing and has been mooted for a while now.

    Curious to see how she goes too could acquit herself fairly well.

    Agree Jum he looks a likely type Alegron doesn't he.
    Wonder if he will get enough weight for Ollie to ride him though??

    Looking at the futures market he is a decent price and perhaps overs compared to some..

    Interesting what is said about the travelling that's a worry, hope it works out well.
    Not surprised the showboaters aka the Kheir/Sokolski crew pissed off the other owners.
    Hopefully they got a fair price and to be fair they have had a great ride for nearly 4 years.

    what a decent bloke nick bishara seems.
    seems the plans are unfair on the mare. how old is she now...rising 7? add to that her dislike of travelling. plus, her last couple of runs were not that good.
    maybe she is telling them she has had enough.

    ^ neither do i. their idea may be to get her served by a nth hemisphere sire.
    just remember very good race mares rarely..very rarely throw anything half decent....make that anything decent. they are breeding duds.
