Thank goodness - at last - there is going to be article - thus discussion on GP - re its future - can the track be increased in size etc  . Be interesting if there are any quotes from the invisible man - Mr Silence himself - M Radley

You look at last Friday - all 10 races - carbon copies - 62.5 - then dash home in 56 - on a half mile track

Plus if you look at Rockets race - Moonlight Drive - and theve had a nice win on that horse $1.70 into $1.26 re Ritchie . 2500 metre race - coming around the home turn with 2 laps to go - Tiger Royal back in 8th spot - they are walking - if that had been  Pete McMullen - or leader Peter as they call him - or Chris Alford - or Robbie Morris to name 3 - they would have all taken off at the top of the straight - and had a real  crack for the lead - an all or nothing move - but you have no chance whatsoever sitting back - when they break 56 on the way home

No wonder they love putting bundles on short price faves over here - they are gifted the lead - they can amble through in 62.5 - and plus  the icing on the cake - the unwritten WA Local Rule - there will be no challenges whatsoever midrace for the lead

Delighted to see Lavra Joe back at the races. Conditions for Race 4 at GP Friday allow Lavra Joe and Typhoon Banner entry into the $L5 <25k race due to the Conditioned pace not proceeding. The FFA was available to the connections but why go there when as a Level 15 and Level 13 horse, you can use the also eligible clause to race against level 10 horses.

    L5$ LT $25,000. 3YO and older. L5$ LT $25,000
    (CONCESSIONS L5$ LT $27,500)
NE Horses with Max Start Level 15+ Last 5 Starts
NE Horses with Max Win Level 12+ Last 5 Starts
AE Horses that have been Preferred Eligible Acceptors, other than Late
Nominations, for the Conditioned Pace (RL14) at THIS meeting and who
have not gained a start at this meeting.

    Preference to HWOE $40,000+
    (RL12)
(Concessions for Novice Driver,Fillies & Mares)
    DIV.1. RBD.
Their actual dollars last 5 are  Lavra Joe $67k and Typhoon Banner 57k respectively. However they gain a start under the AE (Also Eligible) clause and because it is Random Barrier Draw, they fortuitously draw gate 1 and 2. Good luck to the connections. And they call this a handicap system? $1.25 Lavra anyone??

But then in the same breath you complain when people say GP is an easy track to win on the punt? Which is it? stop jumping side to side over the fence
