Spoke to Ernie last night, on the mend, possibly home next week after 4 weeks in Hospital.

Yep - i hope Ernie comes out as good as gold - and i hope for his sake - hes got a pleasant room with a bit of natural light and greenery 

About 15 years ago i spent about 3 days in hospital because of a car crash - 1st day i had a room where i just looked at 4 walls pretty blooody  depressing - then i got moved to another room ( and even the duty doctor commented how much better the room was ) with big windows - natural light and a treed outlight - and it is amazing how uplifting that is for your spirits when you are stuck in their
