Wondering who's on the up and still in the lockerroom, who are we looking forward to seeing over the carnival?

i'd forgotten about trix of the trade and bustler. successs of our horses depends on the strength of the visitors horses.

If you look at last years field, whilst undoubtedly half will be in work and returning - not many would turn the tables you would think.

Comfort Me might finally crack the egg.

There will be a few coming from the east given that Bobs horses couldn't beat me .

The Winterbottom looks very winnable at the moment to me, maybe a couple of 3yr olds emerge.

Godolphin 2nd stringers will come as usual, Baker will bring a few i think (after his success in the quokka) plus a few others mixed in

In the meantime we should be excited(at big Kev levels)for Amelia's Jewel(amongst others)our headliner surely to keep W.A racing on the map over east.
She resumes on Saturday, 1400 at Flemington..looks a deadset special if she runs to her normal very high standard.
Some of the spring racing there in the next month or two should be proper good like :D

Of ours for the local carnival two I like who may progress are as mentioned already All The Kings Men and Bustler.
IF they have improved and with no AJ around both could have a great prep for connections and punters.
Nearly forgot about the gun 3 yo filly Super Smink she is a beauty and if she has improved further lookout.

Well it needs to improve as the last few meetings on Saturday's have been disappointing. What's with the $40,000 races, it's a millennium away from the promises of a decade ago of keeping up with Sydney.
