R1: I think No1 Fess Up gets out a bit to the $1.65-$1.80 range and gets the job done, wont be pretty but will do enough.

R2: Good luck to those who are on No2 Per Adua Ad Astra at the double fugures, its been looking for a race it could dominate for a while and this looks like it.

R3: It would be great to see them be aggressive on Valentines Brook, Seeryanfly might take a sit on it under that scenario. Given how its being driven though I dont think it will happen, im not having a bet but Seeryanfly would be the one.

R4: Very Keen on the $4 the place No10 Master Publisher. Beautiful run in behind the leader, has really solid form for a race like this after not seeing any room last start. Plus something small the win @$31.

R5: My mate Jumpingjackmac was arguably a bit down last start but inhave to go again here, basically getting $3.60 on him holding or not. Even if crossed hes not hopeless.

R6: Something small on Paroquet with the driver change, has to be a sneaky chance of finding the top.

That will do me for the night.

    Good luck all.

Just 1 e/w bet for me

Race 6  horse 11 Sahara Storm @ $51 ( after win boost ) - its honest and its strong - id love this race to be run at a genuine tempo

Must say - what a shame the 100k James Brennan Memorial - its a great field - it would be a highly anticipated - exciting race - but of course yet again we are denied that pleasure - because of that Scumbag unfair track

I think some of his outright rudeness towards others on here has nothing to do with performance

No that is not true at all

Big difference with me - im not connected or intertwined with anyone -  so within reason im one of the very few on this site who can actually give my true view

You take Jay Jay - in my opinion he was an excellent poster before he became an owner - and then he had a conflict of interest - and that is perfectly understandable

If i started buying quite a few pacers - and thus then being introduced and meeting several trainers and drivers - then there is no way known id bag them or be critical of them  on social media - in fact i wouldnt be critical of anyone or anything

And i will tell you for a fact - some of the stuff posted on this site by licensed participants -  if this was NSW or Vic - they would be continually before the stewards and they would be fined over and over again - until the penny dropped - because they dont tolerate any criticism on social media of their industry by licensed participants - that  is fact

Big difference is i dont want to see 27 million dollars wasted - you have made your position clear - your comfortable with them spending that money and keeping the 800 metre track as long as they improve the cambering - that is what you posted - to me that is a dreadfull waste of industry funds . In fact why not just  put the 27 million in an interest bearing deposit - youd get 5% - at the end of 12 mths - you still have a 800 metre track - most importantly - youve still got your 27 million - and you have about 1.3 million in interest - thus you could increase stakemoney by 25k a week - there is so much more common sense in that approach

And finally because your connected to everyone - ( and im clearly not ) then your posting history has clearly shown - and it doesnt matter whether it is football - cricket - harness racing - or even blooody tiddly winks - you are not prepared to tip a bucket on anyone

Goddamn it, I hate it when pesky facts get in the way of a good tale but I have been an owner for 50 years...and bred my first horse 45 years ago...Just saying. Conflict of interest? With my bank account maybe.

Not sure anyone but yourself can give "your true view" but that's being semantic. BTW, I don't want to see them waste $27 million either....or even the $24.7 million they propose to waste.

I would much rather see it be put into the future of the industry with an affordable on track training centre and on course stabling and lights at Pinjarra (ala Cranbourne, Menangle and Queensland) so that young participants can get started and provide a future base without mortgaging themselves out of existence. But whoops, there's that old conflict of interest rearing it's ugly head again......me daring to think about a future for the Industry long after the management of GP have danced on my grave up at Boot Hill.
Very soon, after my last horse is gone, I will be able to resume being an "excellent poster" and maybe even purchase two tipping buckets, one for Chariots and one for myself. I might even kick start the old "Top 50 WA Pacers of All Time" thread as I gaze out at Awaitinginstructions strolling around his retirement paddock.

When i said an owner - your bought 2 little honest fillies/mares from NZ - teamed up with Matt Scott - and i think won your 1st race together at Kalgoorlie - from that point - thats the period of time onwards im talking about
  • JayJayJayJay    8,020 posts
Neighlor was first one with Matt, way before Azalea and Riri, then Cut Above a couple of years after that....and there were plenty with others long before this forum started....just the facts.

ohhhh cut the self righteous crap your the definition of an internet troll on here who plays the hard done by card on here when things don't go your way, just because your opinion may vary from others doesn't mean you have to shit on others views like you so often do , as for insinuating that because your not a part of the industry over here means you give a fair and accurate point of view what a load of crap you know nothing about the industry over here from what you see on TV and hear on the grape vine like I said if you have criticism about anything be constructive and don't be an absolute douche bag

Im not sure youve looked very hard for criticism of the industry in NSW and Vic, social media is littered with negative comments from participants.

Maybe google comments on the recent prize money cuts or the handicapping system in Vic and have a read.

Or dont and continue on with your insular diatribe.

Insular Diatribe - what a hide - ive never questioned anyones honesty or integrity - that is when you cross the line in my opinion

Simple Yes - No question for you - and we will see how much honesty youve got

Did you post after a midweek GP meeting where Shannon S drove a great tactical race to win  - which created alot of discussion here - did you post re another driver in that race - and you named him - and you said he hooked that horse and should get 6 months

Come on - we will see how much courage and honesty youve got - did you post that - Yes or No

You are giving me an incredible amount of credit for memory recall that i just do not have. I couldnt tell you what colour jocks i have on without looking let alone me questioning a drive that i was unhappy with in the past. There would be a lot!

Im not sure what that has to do with things though.

Yes or no question pro. Are you an active twitter/X or facebook user??

Point me in the right direction.

Would have to be a fiar while since a midweek meeting gained a fair bit of discusion..

Also gathering you arent in social media.

I would have a guess the last horse i tipped and didnt like the drive was Vespa, I would still be adamant that if driven how I would have liked it would have won. But i dont think that was a midweek.

I also think you will find though it was others who were up in arms so maybe thats not it.

To Rockets credit he came on here and stated he believed it needed to be driven super quiet to get the best out of it at the stage and to follow that up they did continue to drive the horse in that exact manor in at least the short term.

At the end of the day though that is purely a difference of opinion and they are just that opinions, not on here stating "facts" that are indeed not facts.

Furthermore i have disagreed with rocket and probably many other active participants on here 1000s of times over but i fully appreciate that they even bother to come on here, we might disagree on a lot of things but at the end of the day its their livelyhood at stake im sure they want things to succeed more than a mug punter they dont know from a bar of soap like myself.

Regardless of any of that im really not sure how it circles around to my initial comment.
