Sad news today on the passing of one of our old posters and all round great bloke in Slacka.

I grew up in Geraldton with this ripper guy and he was one of the really good guys.

Loved his racing and was a great mate and a fun bloke to be around.

Massive condolences to his beautiful family.

He was 58 and lived in France.

How long had he lived in France mate? Must have maybe married a French bird?

You should, was a great mate of Darrah (Bunbury Geoff) who also passed away very young.

A huge mentor for me, Pete. I met him on this forum nearly 20 years ago and haven't missed a catch up since. It is a sad day today. R.I.P Slacka.

Geoff was mentioned on Tabradio the other day about the Collie Races. I met him through a mutual friend when he was involed in trotting.

Saw the great man off today. Sorely missed, never forgotten. On to the big racetrack in the sky.

Unfortunately our man of knowledge Pistonbroke has also succumbed to the inevitable . Used to kick the footy with him at the 1400mtr on the track at Ascot many moons ago.

Not sure of the circumstances falc but do know he was about the 63 y/o mark. Certainly some good memories from that time in life.
