Here we go Perth, sizzle time.

Can't believe Keshi Boom is 1.45, will be sideswiping that.

Rusty Dreams is the one for me.
+1 -1

Seems like a pretty good comp on thegreattipoff for the carnival through to new years. Broome Cup trip for the winner.

The only cert i know is no-one from this forum will be winning! On another different note can someone confirm if it is correct  that  Alsephina MUST win today to run in the railway?

Well the RJ Peters is a qualifying race so long as you are nominated. You can't be balloted out.

When was the last time the field was full for this race ?

What do people think of Miss Rockjoy in the Champion Fillies as a rough chance ?

Pike is an absolute genius. Two bets in Race 3 - Demolish and Count The Sessions, who gets you, the best we have seen since Harvey was at his brilliant best.

Demolish has been a very consistent horse, but just can't seem to crack a win.
Fun fact I noticed when looking at his starts last start: Steven Parnham hasn't won a race on him. For all their good runs together i was surprised to learn this.

Delay at Ascot. Track problems. Area that was blocked causing issues. Rail to be moved.
The track curator does need to put more water on the track. Most trainers and jockeys will attest.
Embarrassment. Let's hope it is in better condition for the Railway.

I agree with the watering aspect as I've said in here before. Although I believe the section of the track had to be replaced due to a fertiliser spill or something similar.
Either way, this is definitely embarrassing and something that should have been attended to sooner.

They interviewed the track curator this morning on tabradio. He was saying with the easterlies it was difficult to get water onto the surface after the track work and racing was finished for the day

Yesterday was disgusting, someone has to be held accountable firstly races put back 38 min then last race abandoned,no excuses it costs owners because of this, trainers time $ these trainers are up at 3-4 am every morning, then some of them the 1-2 hrs travel to get to races, then some have to turn around and go home again, what about these tracks inspections that go on by the CEO and track manager that go online,do they just stand in one spot, great time for this to be happening with the spring carnival about to start.

I only cherry pick results having no real interest in Racing anymore. So I was surprised when my email went off this morning with press releases and what happened as I was unaware.

Its a thankless task for a lot of the staff of Perth Racing.

I don't care how it happened, who was at fault, why didn't anyone proactively try to prevent etc. The excuses are well practise of spinning bull **** into a celebration of excellence.

But management should be aware, you can't buy this level of free publicity. You can dress it up with lipstick for the great unwashed, but it is still a festering dog turd at the end of the day.

    Well done boys.
