Last meeting for Busso this season. Pretty serious horse I'm The Best in the Cup, going for 5 out of 5, if he doesn't have bad luck, I think he just wins.

Hats off to the team, the meetings have been fantastically publicised by Scott Hamilton each week, Matt Young and Scott have been scurrying around the parade ring doing the twitter pre race interviews, Matt's pre race on course stuff as always spot on, you are always made very welcome in the office by Sara and Michelle. The Busso Facebook page updated and loaded with info almost instantaneously, I think Katie Howlett has been busy on this task.

Unplaced horses get the bonus travel card for $100, very substantial trophies on EVERY race and the crowds (along with the weather) have been huge. 11 pony trotters last week, well done to all the Mums and Dads. Always a place for these type of clubs and meetings for the not so talented horses and the exposure the sport needs. A terrific season, one of the best ....and I have been to a few for comparison purposes.

Very bussy, did myself a moni preview for the first half of Busso then life got in the way!

R1 Franco Western as I think it could be a run on race, stable flying.

R3 Rumour Has It-lead and win.

    Busso.
R1 Glays Gugman EW off a beautiful trip.

R2 Libba Racy can be put in to it tonight, massive price.

R3 Cheap Thrilz. Wheeler factor, think the fave should find the top and win but prices are too far apart.

R4 Motor On Jessie EW best bet'-bursting to win a race now.

Unless I’m The Best gets to the front I can’t see him winning, he hasn’t really beaten much off favourable draws.will have to work tonight I reckon. He’s Royal Blue I reckon is the swooper over a longer distance at big odds.
Goood luck Busso on a big night.

Dylan Egerton-Green on Stamford oh boy….
Given the way rumour has it has been going lately and the conditions of the race where it was all about qualifying for the final, his tactics were embarrassing. He’s a good young talent but that drive shows he’s still a few lengths off the top 5 drivers in the state
  • freodockersfreodockers    2,667 posts
He’s entitled to hold the lead ???

Of course he’s entitled to lead.

Congrats JayJay on another country cup.
Terrific training effort and good aggressive drive in front, ran them off there legs.
Re horse, what a great pick up he’s been 6 or so starts and 25.0 k in stakes, just goes to show you can still do it with Aussie bred horses.
Also congrats to BTC on a very entertaining season. Hopefully next year horses and meetings to match the crowds.
