Not a lot of vigour on Premium Girl from The Pont.

For a bloke that gets in trouble for it a lot it seems to be somethingg he cant shake.

Just watched the replay with Paul in isolation and I think you should do the same.

The horse was being urged forward around the home turn, having drawn wide, but looked a little flat. He got her into a good position where she started to respond, ducking in making him change whip into his left hand, over the last 300M only missing out under quite forceful riding. I thought he made her look better than what she is.

She is by A Lot, they are underwhelming on Saturday's.

Race 6 for $100,000 and just six starters. That's disappointing. No milers around at this time of the year ?

Gilga that was vintage Harvey ,when he rides for that owner (LJA) he leaves -- no tricks in the kit bag, what's tricked you the fact he put the whip in the left which is definitely a rareity, he could do no more

Im happy to agree to disagree. Im not saying he didnt ride it to win early but from the furphy sign onwards to me he stopped. It probably makes no diffenerence to result but watch the replay once theyve crossed the line and zoom in on the winner, that is not a jockey riding his horse out through the line IMO.

Pike on it wins ? Too close in the last couple of strides to not give it a good hard slap with the whip or ride hands and heels HARDER, would it have won ? Dunno

Stewards questioned him over it (good work) and happy enough with the explanation.

It was hanging but geez come on Paul just ride that last 20m!

I was on as well Giga . It was laying in as opposed to hanging. Hence the whip in the left
