A lot of the old number 9 ( 2 back) in the new number 9 I thought. Similar builds and toughness. I can see why the hype is there.

When there is a draw in the head to head market do the bookies take the lot or do they pay out at half rate??
Looking but can't find the rules anywhere.

Both teams foot skills were woeful but some of the doggies handball chains were outstanding. They came with the physicality required for a game like this early, got the jump and that was enough to win them the game.
Not sure i was watching the premier from either team.

Deanmill Football Club, in it's entirety, is mourning the loss of an
icon of the game in John Todd. From humble beginnings in a small timber
settlement to striding the stage of greatness at all levels of
Australian Rules Football, "Toddy" had a presence like few others. An
unflinching desire to be the very best and a generosity of spirit and
commitment that was unwavering. He, and his great mate John Cooper,
through 23 years of support for the Todd Cooper Cup, gave so much
to our Football Club and requested so little. Toddy's uncompromising
support of grassroots football in general, and of the Deanmill Football
Club in particular, will never be forgotten. We were all so fortunate to
count him as a friend and advisor for so many years. When he spoke, we
all listened, and we all learnt. A magician on the field, a master
tactician in the coaching arena and a loyal and innovative thinker who
was tireless in his desire to see the game prosper. Truly, a giant of
the game. We are so very grateful for his support and send our kindest
thoughts and sincerest condolences to Meryl and his extended family."
