Looks like this meeting is safe with the 36 degree revised temperature.

Some really competitive racing over the whole card, could be a punters graveyard. Lucky we all own a shovel.

My value:

R2. Ex Sport Man
R3. Uncle Gerrard
R4. Dream To Me
R5. Indie Ruler
R6. Multinational / Featherweight
R7. Stormchaser 1.85? Really? You'd have to have screws loose to pile in at that price. Snow Price for me.
R8. Big Shots in what is a cracking race.
R9. Snazzler

Work around those and you should go well.

gone a bit wide there chrisso which is good to see..not like boreing old ernie m.
i might have screw coming loose but i reckon 1.85/1.90 is about stormchasers price, the fernie/cjp is pretty lethal. not that i'll be backing it.
i'll get my bet out of the way early..r2 sluice box.
with most maximum (16) fields...good luck, we'll need it.

Clint Johnson porter had 8 rides today
He fkd up 8 of them
Got it wrong with tempo and judgement with every decision made

If William cared to watch (which he probably didn’t) he’d be absolutely shaking his head at missing out on another fill-up

Pinjarra have a real problem with internet coverage even with there wifi password could not connect . They have two passwords but would not reveal the other one that’s not posted around the course . Telling me there was to many people on the public one as being the reason could not connect. They most probably done me a favour in the end but on days like yesterday they need to do more to accommodate the punter

Had the same problem. The office gave me the members' password but still couldn't get through. Had to leave the course and drive into the centre of town to get coverage and put some bets on. Same problem last year. Not good enough, particularly when you're charging $25 entry. Next year I'll stay home.

Tony Triscari  very good  trainer been off the scene 20 odd years, trained Boulder Cup winner 1985.The owner doesn't forget the jockeys even the Pontiff pulls the mop on the point of bend-----Stevie P. rode the last winner like it was for everything. Left handed whip and all must still sling like the old days no wonder Chateau Tanunda .The stable-mate was stiff earlier in the day Pontiff was trying to attach wings at the 100 metre mark.

Dont really understand why you disliked Ngawyni post Meatpie. i didnt pay to get in and wasnt happy either. If i paid $25 i would of been absolutly fuming. They know they have a issue as Ngawyni said so why havnt they done something about it. Its ok on your normal Pinj day , but putting all the time into promotion and you cant get a bet on not good. While im at it bring back the lamb van. Nothing like driving nome chewing on a shank and a bush chook

Sounds pathetic that there is no reception, in this day and age. It aint exactly an “outback” location. Glad i never went

My internet reception was sluggish but was still able to get reception. My mate could not get reception. Has been an issue for a while down there and nothing happens. $25.00 entry was a bit steep.
Reckon the track is leader bias with horses 5 wide and wider not having much chance.

You wait until cup day, getting bets on via the iphone was an issue last year, a few mates walked to the Premier and watched a few races there.

Rode it well SP i did notice the whip in the left, she laid in last time.
Good dilemma to have does Pont get back on if she is suitably weighted next start?

IMO notice over the years loyalty is the number one ingredient ,with LJA even. back in Stylish Lord, days 14 wins in a row days same jock rode , in thirteen, CraigWake rode it when Newling was suspended. The Pontiff has been number one for alot years , Kid Choisir ; these recent ones with Triscari . Be surprised if isn't. Of cause weight restrictions allows opportunities for others.

What a disgrace they allow another Stylish Lord named in W.A. to race here .State Record Holder 14 wins on the bounce

So the issue with the wifi is todo with the number of users (seats) the system can handle.

A system such as theirs would be able to handle a few hundred seats. To provide coverage over such a large area, the club have probably made significant investment.

To goto the next level and cater for 1000s of users the club would be looking at a “managed system”, which would require an investment of 50-100k approx + a dude to manage it. This is beyond what a provincial club can support.

In short, use your own data on busy days.

Regarding the $25 entry, if you look at the clubs annual report you’ll see their costs and understand the revised cover charge. Despite this, a lot still get free entry.

If we could do that there wouldn’t be an issue. Unfortunately the signal strength, at least for those with Telstra, was weak or non-existent.

Bluespec you have posted a few posts regarding this then go on to say use your own data. If you posted more replies you would have seen where Flanders asked the question about this and the answer that you could not get a signal to use your own data. I would of been happy to do so if I could

STG. Just on your post above about loyalty pretty sure S.Newlings mum owned a fair chunck of Stylish Lord hence maybe why he always steered. Then again hard to rissole someone when they havnt been defeated (J.Noske first win Black Caviar would of been one hard to cop) I heard Shane say that R.Stewart rang him and asked if he could use the name. Dont know how that interacts with the turf club rules though

Mobile phone coverage is outside of the clubs reasonable control.

They can only provide so much infrastructure.

    Bet local instead.
