I like the quinella in the Melb Cup and ive backed it accordingly

I like the Bendigo Cup winner Sea King ( absolutely brained them ) into the Geelong Cup winner OneSmoothOperator ( it also brained them )  , it was a huge run at Geel 3 wide the trip with cover , and i read the trainer said ( who has had other Melb Cup runners ) this horse is totally different , he called it a fast stayer with gears and a real turn of foot

And for the students of form re the punt , the key race back over in York in Aug , one ran 6th of 20 beaten 4.8 lengths and the other one ran 7th of 20 beaten 5 lengths , so there is nothing between them and they both drop about 8 kilos , and i reckon they will run one/two .

Just back from the Charles to put a bet on. Whole network down nobody can bet anywhere apparently. Will cost the TAB a fortune, I saved my cash.
Sea King will win now haha

Brand damage massive, a lot of really hissed off punters at my Pub Tab.

Needed an SP operator out the back of The Barber shop.

Eddie thought the presentation was all about Eddie, as always. Simply awful.

Same thing happened Kal Cup day numerous times.

Rwwa and Tabtouch seem to only want to invest in the junkets, not the network. They dont blink an eye to send every tom dick and harry to japan, honkers, france, charter choppers to broome etc etc etc

Fuc the product - the staff want perks!!!!

All Eddie wanted to do was suck up to these High Profile celebrities, imagine what it was costing to have them there.

3 race meetings in WA  (and no TAB) on Melbourne Cup day. What do the Trots do? Nothing.

A venue smack bang in the "entertainment and sporting centre of East Perth" with big screens, restaurants, betting facilities. Someone with a milligram of imagination....chicken and champagne lunches, fashions, 8 races, start at 10.30am, pony trots, a band, whatever, do something, get the machines ticking over, attract the people living in the CBD.....do something, build a tradition. But nope, too hard.

What does harness do? Nothing, they race on Wednesday when nobody could give a tinkers. But look out, the grifters will come out with reasons not to do anything.

    Knight's Choice, the Australian bred:

    9th - Underwood Stakes
    16th - Turnbull Stakes
    14th - Caulfield Cup
    5th - Bendigo Cup

That was its lead up form....but it's now a Melbourne Cup winner.

Let's compare Knight's Choice to other Australian Bred Melbourne Cup winners since 1990:

    Subzero (1992)
    Saintly (1996)
    Rogan Josh (1999)
    Viewed (2008)
    Shocking (2009)
    Vow And Declare (2019)

I wouldn't of thought Knight's Choice is better than them. A bad look in a way for Australian racing that a horse like Knight's Choice can win a Melbourne Cup. This year's field collectively was horrible in terms of depth, the same as last year and previous 2 years....so all up past 3 years have lacked depth. It's a farce.

One big positive is that the whole of Australia gets to hear a brilliant race caller. Matt Hill is simply outstanding. I never thought anyone could top Greg Miles but watching Matt's work on You Tube clips, he lives and breaths every race. There has been many greats but I think he is the best.

Your opinion on Knight's Choice is your perogative, but moot, as all record books will show the 2024 Cup Winner as Knights Choice & that is all people will remember.

It's not moot. Plenty of people I've seen on social media have roughly the same opinion on Knight's Choice.

I got a $20 bonus bet from Tabtouch today which was nice... had some technical dramas again today though at around the time of the Derby!
I know it's not easy to do a quick fix on these things, but jeez they need one.

I bet there is no glitches when they are booking their junkets or the choppers to broome!

How would you feel if you paid $40 or more to get into Ascot and then find you can't get a bet on the TAB, I'd be peeved to the max
