Gee Holly Watson must have really wanted that win in R2... blatantly abused the whip rule, or made a big mistake? Either way I'd imagine a bit lighter in the pocket if the stewards are on the ball today

Did Bob transfer this gelding to John Leek only to see it flop then decided to sell it and it went back to the original Trainer with new Owners and it has won at it's second start after a good first up result?

Is that right or have I missed something ?

Well I guess the stewards weren't on the ball today at all. No mention of this one, nor Joey Azzopardi in R5.
From what i saw, each of these examples were in the vicinity of 10x strikes before the 100m. These would normally attract a big fine or even suspension if their record was poor.

Went to Danny O'Brien first, had a few runs then to Leek.

I used to think anyone could train bobs horses to win. But im quickly forming an alternate opinion.

Midnight Blue (Caulfield) and Treasured Queen both won on Saturday for new owners/trainers.

Reliable Queen on Thursday at Pinj too.

Far more Bob bred horses winning for new connnections than for Bob unfortunately.

The jumper looks to be flying and Frigid come back well so hopefully they can be a mini flagship and he can start getting some better outcomes locally.
