Maybe an aerial before and after shot from a drone would be good

I reckon Darren was busting to say, "Generosity dead as a maggot leaves its run too late", but he showed great control. :))

Mojo Rythm getting out to a ridiculous price in the last.

Thought it was travelling really well in to it last start before not giving a yelp, i'm going to back them in that something wasnt right and it will put in today.

I think Super Smink is done , although she did not get a clear run, she is not going well. I hope I'm wrong.

Having watched the feature replay this morning a few times you really wouldnt think any of the horses outside the top 3 wpuld want to be pushing on for the next leg of the series would you??

Originally I was thinking from where he got to with 150m odd to go Western Empire should have won by more but watching again Magnificent Andy was right on his tail at stages in the straight and WE put a gap on him - it might just be more a case that the mare ran out of her skin.

Well where does that leave Keshi Boom Super Smink gave it 3.5 kgs and beat it home?
  • ManchildManchild    740 posts
Keshi boom was ordinary as well, so we may have to see her again under race conditions to assess better.

If you’re Bob you’re repairing ties with Williams again surely? Life’s too short to waste good horse stock.

Only way it would happen be under team Williams terms. And can’t see that happening

Surely the old records need to be scrapped. I see in today's racebook Waratah's Secret holds the record from 2010. Sorry but that was a different course. You can't compare apples with oranges.

Twains Angel always looks like it's going to fall in and then wins fairly impressively

I wonder how many horses have strung 5 in a row together after having 20+ starts like Fat Roy Slim.

^ referring to that race, what photo finish equipment do we have? a box brownie? took many long minutes before it was declared a dead heat....the eastern states would have it up in seconds on the course TV.

King Kool Kat took 23 odd starts to win his maiden. then another 20 before he won another then six in a row to finish with a hannans hcp on the bounce.
