    Why wasn't race rerun only went 400 meters before race called off.
    I thought race gets abandoned only  if they go for more than a lap?

    I believe that the on course vet had to attend to an injured horse (stitches but a good outcome) as a priority and could not do the inspections required of all other runners prior to race 4. Not gospel but that was what was conveyed to me.

    The Stewards subsequently abandoned the race. Despite attempts to re-run
    the race, given it was stopped at an early stage, it was impractical to
    proceed due to worsening weather conditions, numerous scratching’s, and
    the oncourse veterinarian prioritizing the fallen MAJOR CORRIDA and
    other affected runners, which prevented timely re-checking of the
    remaining field, without causing delays to the program.

    Read as - they didn’t want to. Bad luck owners/trainers just feed them out of your own pocket for another week.

    No vet examination was conducted on Gota Good Warhol.
