Absolutely no knock....huge achievement and has the resources to have the numbers obviously....just wonder does his domination have a negative effect for the Kal club and racing .
Talking to a former goldfields participant who believes it has certainly made it tough for the others.
I would hold grave concern for Kal racing without him. He can be beat, look no further than last year, you just have to be willing to throw enough darts.
Kal can have 4 horse fields and RWWA would still celebrate them. One trainers dominance due to numbers = less incentive to invest unless you have a rock star race horse.

Kal 69 starters on Sunday and think 19 where Peter Fernies.

Cannot help when likes of Pearce (last seasons), Ballantyne etc send horses to P.Fernie, instead of taking them up trhemselves, but in saying that I can see why they do.
Looking at the 3 outer Provincials Kalgoorlie heavily relies on Pete, Albany very reliant on Steve Wolfe, to a lesser degree Roy Rogers, and Geraldton most probably has more trainers & gets great support from Adam Durrant

Probably not great for Kal but can't knock the bloke... puts his dollars on the line and must put in the hours.
