Ripley Would Not Believe It

West Australian Racing
Regarding the Belmont meeting concluded today.....  In all my years on this forum I have never witnessed a Saturday city meeting with no post/comment/selections.

For me it was a woeful meeting that I was not keen on (costly as Songaa did arouse interest).

We need to recharge the forum.

I posted something mid week & as of yesterday morning nothing else had been added in WA racing

PTT has been great over time but as good as done it would seem, more action in the Harness section the only sign of life left.

Agree,, Maybe  people are more passionate about trot racing...and seeing the decline are giving opinions re the sport

Sign of the times. Too much of the same content (opinion pieces) on social media so forums and chat rooms are almost all gone. PTT has done great to hang in as long as it has.

Speaking of “would not believe it” - check the salute on Sardelic yesterday on the Derby Cup winner. Stood up with 50m to go saluting the crowd, was fantastic! Biggest salute ive seen for a while. He will be a few greenbacks light today i reckon

I think it was Brenton Avdulla on a VRC Oaks winner was the biggest before that

PTT has had a good run, nearly 20 years old, sadly I don't think it's just the site itself
