I agree that the track readings at times are farcical but you got to remember that Iligro delmondo was in front at the 600 (when the timer starts) but Triple Jay in the Blue Spec was around 6-7 lengths from the leader so his 600m time was seriously affected by this
Of course but when you have top horses like Triple Jay running 37.13 last 600 at the end of 1650 vs a donkey running 36.51 at the end of 2300m, something is wrong.
Yesterday Flash Paddy won a C3 over 2100m and he flew home in 39.62 on a Soft 7. Today on a Heavy 8, the slowest winner's sectional has been 36.7 in the 1500m mdn.
Yesterday was closer to a heavy 10 than a soft 7.
Actually today's Pinjarra track has been downgraded to a Heavy 9. It's farcical.
The misinformation that comes from both Ascot and Belmont tracks has been there for a couple of years now. No transparency at all... when it's far too hard they say its a Good 4. When it is a complete bog, they say its a Heavy 8. It's all good to want to be more appealing for the punting dollar, but there must be honesty and transparency to some extent as well. Stretch the truth a touch sure, but don't take the pizz

The ratings on Karrakatta Plate day were an embarrassment.

How they thought they were going to run the Blue Spec in R9 before connections complained about it and moved it to R6 was a joke.
